111 Skill Points Not Enough !

urs, would you like it if a lot of spelldamage nodes were removed from the passive tree, so you can get all the remaining ones with 111 points?
Keep in mind the final prowess of your character (in terms of spelldamage) does not change in the slightest if this were to happen!

I'm pretty sure one of the reasons why there are more of these passives sprinkled around the tree than you can or should take, even when min-maxing, is to allow you to choose which ones to head for, ultimately giving character builds more freedom instead of forcing them in definite directions of the tree too harshly.

So instead of complaining that you cannot get all spelldamage (plus ele) nodes, be happy that you can get as much as possible of them while still having options where to take them - because different areas of the tree might have different other passives which you might or might not like.

First of all, i can complain as much as i want, as long as it is constructive criticism.

Yes, With 111 or 115 skills you should be able to take all nodes related to either Fire, Cold Or Lightning Damage. Deleting the extra nodes is a viable option.

Look i am not happy, with 115 points you should be able plan a build with full fire or full lightning or full cold and still have a couple of points for auxiliary passives.

This is currently not possible.
As i said before, there is no satisfaction in not being able to get maximum damage from fire, cold or lightning tree with all points allocated.

You can complain as much as you want, but don't you dare calling your QQing constructive, because there's nothing constructive in them whatsoever. Firstly you are comparing Diablo 2 with PoE, which are 2 completely different games with completely different mechanics. Secondly, putting all your eggs in 1 basket(specific element damage+elemental damage nodes+crit multipliers+spell damage nodes) won't give you the highest DPS, since things like buffs(auras) and debuffs(curses) are available in this game, as well as support gems and item stat diversity. Moreover, having the highest DPS doesn't make for the most powerful character, since stacking all that DPS will leave you with nearly 0 survivability, which means you'll never be able to actually dish out your DPS.

Bad trolling is bad.

111 points is plenty really, if they were to add more they'd have to weaken passive nodes to compensate

Or they'd have to inflate difficulty.

In other words, this request is pining after an illusion.

For example, every once in a while, I think to myself: "currency items should drop more often." And then I say to myself: "oh, inflation."

I do occasionally think that it would be kinda cool if a special quest reward allowed you to pick a skill anywhere in the skill tree. Such a reward would need to not allow you to skill walk from that area. This isn't really well-thought out, however, and isn't a suggestion. :-P
Or remove some of the very far points.

If you want maximum power in 1 single area (fire, ice, lightning) you can't get it at the moment.
Also don't forget that every player now has to stack the shit out of life, resistance and / or ER nodes just to be viable after cruel difficulty.

There is only one single build type that you are allowed to play in PoE, and that's a tank. You can't make a pure offense specced caster in this game because then you won't be able to win.

Removing the ability for non tanky characters to be able to enjoy the game was the biggest dick move imaginable in a game like this. Id rather that this game was called 'World of Tanks' instead ... Oh wait right, there's already a game called that.
