111 Skill Points Not Enough !

more than 111 points? Oc....NOT.
Lets give every char bestly every skillpoint in the tree......honestly: Even if you put 70 points in the tree you are alrdy so well skilled......cant imagine how it will be with 111. |

" 2 acts x 4 difficulties = 8 acts total. 3 acts x 3 difficulties = 9 acts total. So I think the monster levels at the end (and hence, character level) will likely be a bit higher. Any change in total skill points will depend on how many are given as quest rewards in act 3. For that matter, they can change rewards in acts 1 and 2 also, nothing is set in stone at this point. Rebalancing monster levels throughout the game sounds tricky, but will be necessary anytime an act is added. The game is called PATH of Exile not I Want to be Good at Everything of Exile, 111 points are fairly enough for 1 path you choose.

I do agree that number of points should be increased, but not by much (125 would be ideal).
Off topic: Does anyone else think that starting attributes should be round numbers? Instead of being 30/14/14 and 22/22/14, I think they should be 40/20/20 and 30/30/20 (note that I am basing this opinion purely from info found on this site instead of the actual game since I'm still gathering money for closed beta key). |

I think what someone meant earlier was to remove some nodes that repeat, while at the same time adjusting the values of the remaining nodes so that the grand total of what you could get in the passive skill tree remains unchanged.
e.g. +10, +10, +10 as one path to head into one direction, why not just change all 3 nodes into 1 that gives +30 ? e.g. One cluster of, say the +Increase attack speed or the+% life cluster, you have maybe several of those nodes in one cluster. Maybe bring it down to just 3 or 4 while adjusting the values to compensate. And, each level will actually feel like you have gained something because each passive skill point you spend has more bang for buck. |

i do believe 111 is a good number to settle at
any less then you are stuck to a specific class any more every one becomes a God and can be any class regardless of which class they selected at the start with the current 111, you can be a Hybrid of 2.5 class |

Didn't take the time to read the whole thread.. but REAAALLY?? One of the best things going for this game is the skill tree and how you choose to navigate it while making thorough decisions knowing that you can't be a one hit wonder god mode tri-elemental crit heavy infinte mana Asgardian demi-god from Cybertron. Sure.. I would love to hit every evade, critical, bow damage, accuracy, projectile, elemental, energy shield and kitchen sink node on the tree.. except for the part where I wouldn't because that would completely destroy the game.

A Little more skill points, so we are able to have at least 1 full specialized tree at max level.
