This is the way to go ladies and gentlemen. I use this method to update my laptop with the current version when I'm stuck on the road for work. Just navigate to you install directory, default is C/program files/Path Of Exile. I would advise backing up your current .ggp just in case bittorrent has a screw up (or your computer does).

I've been dling the .torrent for 15 minutes and I'm past where my client update was at % wise which started 2 hours ago. Dont forget to seed!

I will wait for the slow download. Rather than some .exe or .ggpk that may be tampered with.

Its not a .exe, if you would look its a direct copy of the .ggpk. Its also been noted by the developers as being a viable alternative.
