[OSX] Unofficial Path of Exile port - 30/12/2018 status update

running a macbook pro with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5 processor running OSX 10.8.5 and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 256 Graphics card
I played the game just fine earlier today but now as I'm trying to come back
I'm getting to the initial loading screen before and error box comes up which reads "Shaders/Renderers/Shadows.ffx: Unexpected end of file reading FRAGMENT block."

I then get a "Runtime Error!" box which says "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact this apllications support team for more information"

repeatedly getting the notification that my pack file is corrupt and I have to re-download the application this usually pops up after I play the game once and then do something else for a few hours

So I couldn't find how to fix it from other posts in this thread, but I am having issues right when the game loads and the character is standing on the beach. Here is the issues from the file. I have no idea if this will help anyone help me, but thank you if you tried!

The game worked for me for some time, but just recently I ran into a problem where the black Grinding Gear Games load screen would never load. The game doesn't freeze, but instead never loads. I was wondering if there might be a fix for this.

Have you solved this issue yet? I'm getting the same thing now.

Hi! I have been playing for a couple of hours using 4.1.1B and then the game suddenly crashed. After that, I cannot start poe anymore. It keeps on throwing an exception:

Error Opening File:

art/particles/monster_particles/act3/blood_elementals/blood_drops.mat

Anyone know how to fix this?
