Please make summoned monsters a different color xD
Yeah can you please do that? It's kind of hard to distinguish when playing with someone else and they have tons of summoned monsters. Can you make them like a different hue or something? I though about it because I was playing with someone and somehow I was getting damaged and there was an enemy blending in with my team mates mobs. Can you guys please make them stand out or something so its easier to differentiate?
P.S. My build is glass cannon that's why I thought it to be important because I can't take much hits and also I'm in the 1 week HC race xD Just trying to have fun with a different build. ty "God does not conform to your imagination"

Which monsters are you talking about? The raised zombies and summoned skeletons are already differently coloured (and the skeletons have glowy eyes) to distinguish them, and the other minion skills put enemies on your side, so look like the monsters they are (spectres get a cool blue effect over them as well).

I'm on Istis' side here.
When you're on a team with a summoner, there are monsters EVERYWHERE. The palette is such that monster models kind of just blend together, and spell/attack effects add so much noise you can't even figure out where the enemies are. The only "aura" we get to identify friend from foe is a 1-pixel wide green aura on mouseover and a dull purple glow (MY minions here only, conversion). It's not enough. I actually start spamming my curse and look for the curse emblem to find hostile targets. Original design needs some thought if this is how far I have to go. The other dreaded game fixed this recognition problem in a few ways, some of them I wasn't too thrilled with. -- I don't have alpha access, that was a LONG time ago. I also find it hard to distinguish them. Skeletons and zombies.
Leaves are falling all around, It's time I was on my way.
Thanks to you, I'm much obliged for such a pleasant stay. But now it's time for me to go. The autumn moon lights my way. For now I smell the rain, and with it pain, and it's headed my way. |

The subtle color differences are nowhere near enough to quickly and reliably distinguish your minions from skeletons with exactly the same model. Zombies have the same problem when trying to distinguish them from zombie mobs, though summoned zombies tend to move faster.
Spectres are great because the blue glow makes them easy to distinguish, but their projectiles don't have the blue glow. If you raise some temple guardians, which make kickass spectres, the green cross-fire can get extremely confusing. It would be a tremendous improvement if player summons had unique models. Like Zakaluka, I spam a curse to find hostile targets, particularly in areas with zombies and skeletons. |

I find the zombies and specters distinguishable enough. Skeletons are another matter though, I sometimes try to attack even my own skeletons.

This doesnt have much do do with colour, but more with the fact that you can select player's minions/summons. Which, under the current game mechanics, is honestly just bad UI.
There's pretty much no reason whatsoever to see summon's health, and even then to be able to select them. They fight automatically, they explode the same way, skeleton can be recast anytime, and i'm not sure that to heal your summons through potions is really any good. To have them never display their health and not be able to be selected by players would go a long way toward making fights enjoyable with a summoner. Hell, even alone i have trouble to shoot an enemy in the middle of all my skeletons. |

Yeah, my biggest problem isn't finding the enemy (its where my summons are congregating!), its *targetting them*. I have terrible problems hitting enemies engaged by my summons because the game refuses to let me select the enemy through my hordes of minions.

I too have to use the curse spam method

I also have difficulty distinguishing my minions from enemies. Although I've got better at it, I still regularly fire off a few shots at my own minions before realising they're with me. A small fix could be to change their health bar to green perhaps? The downside is that you actually need to mouse-over them for this, but it's an improvement.
