1. I can only read a portion of your reply for now cause I really really have to go. But this is important to know for the rest.

From now on i'm investing in life nodds... not to be misunderstood so what is the best path to go on now. Should I restat some or keep it this way so I have to restat less in endgame?

edit: had chance to read it all... thank you for the information it has been refreshing. I'd still need some time to find some of those skills. Already got enfeeble, minion ins and luck. :)

whether or not you reallocate your points is entirely up to you and finally comes down to your attention span.

if you can't wait to hit those endgame maps and rather wanted to farm piety yesterday than in a week, go ahead and respec. it would even be better to get a new character just as rathik said so you can keep your points for later when you need them. in the same way, if you have some gear from another character you can use for leveling, don't even bother with anything i wrote and use those or rathik's leveling guide and respec when you are ready.

if you have the time to spare or like the challenge go on and stick to the final build without respecing, but keep in mind this can be very discouraging and frustrating at times.
the most useful thing you get out of doing this is a better understanding of the summoner and his possibilities. you will learn which mobs are easy and which you want to avoid and most importantly you will learn the number one thing you need as a summoner: positioning! but the learning process will be slow and most likely you will die a few times along the way.

I'm into fixin... definitly into fixin...

I started to built more hp now. I can now aim on getting the skills from the lvling guide witch section and as I go along there will be a slight difference I guess but the good thing bout it, I think, is that I have to use less regrets in endgame,... right ?

Fixing it will cost you 13 orb of regrets with the current skill tree and level. 10 regrets if you get 3 levels and make the link to Deep Wisdom with the flask nodes.
You can also continue as is and be more careful while playing assuming you will respec CI at higher levels, but to do respec into CI you will need the gear.
If you don't have the gear, which most likely you won't as a new player is best to stay with life.

Its basically up to you. Personally I value 10 regrets more than 3-4 hours of game play.

Almost 8 hours now and i'm lvl 28... when your new you can count it more then double need to get to 41 so make that 12-15 hours nonestop gaming. :)

Anyway found some new drops that satisfy me... rarity rate drop items. :)
i have a question about items for the summoner.
I found a really handy shield (with less armour)

now i don´t know if it is better to use the shield to get high res and use in the other slots things with less resis and more utillity or sell it and buy a shield with high armour and some res/hp?
At the moment i don´t have a real good gear so i am complete free what i use to wear.
Maybe you can help me a bit with your experience.

Oh, and an other question. Is there a tool which i can use to build up a good gear.

And an other question, is there a tool outside where i can theorycrafting my gear?
Like i put in this shield combine it with the boots of ullr etc. and how my gear will looks like? This would help me to find the "best" combination of items.

3. mana. the more mana you have the more you can cast (captain obvious at duty here ;/ ).

Actually, not true.

Mana doesn't much matter until Merciless, and only then so a number of auras can be cast. Mana regen is what's needed. Then when it is time to make a skelly, mana is available.

The zomboids will be doing the heavy damage. Skellies are great for absorbing damage since the supply is infinite.

I ditched MI early; it was not helpful in the general case. I found I was much better off just casting replacement minions and letting the horde of zombs and skellies eat the opposition.

My 84 summoner is perfectly functional with 200 mana.

I know that the build doesn't require snapshotting but I was just wondering if it would be cheaper. Should I purchase a good 5-6L es chest or just use a high es chest without links and a white 6L? I am new to summoners and snapshotting so I don't know if it will be nerfed any time soon.

I was also wondering how much ES I should aim for on my chest.

Emm, you should worry about life and resistances first.
Armour is always good but as a summoner you shouldn't get hit by physical attacks very often.

Personally I am against snap shotting so you should decide on your self.

A 500+ ES chest is a good start I guess.

thanks Rathik2, i will have a look at hp and resistence.
How "high" should i hold chaos? I am a lifebuild.
At the moment i am at about +25% chaos res.

There's a snapshotting thread, it's probably on page 2 or 3 of the witch forum. A search should find it quick. All I can say is that you can get to level 84 without 'hardcore' snapshotting and without dying much at all.

How much ES on your chest? As much as you can get. Hit poe.xyz and see what you can find.

A 5L chest is not needed; my 5th slot is taken up by an 'Item Rarity' gem. So for just killing mobs and pharming experience, that gem socket is wasted. It really depends upon your goals. A decent 5L chest is something like 5 exalted. That's just 6 'rows' of alts. Not so hard to farm that much.

This gear was about the best I was willing to afford. It hit my 'gotta haves': 5L, a solid Life attribute, and 500+ ES. The nice lightning resist was a bonus.

There is far better gear out there of course, and it costs 30 to 200+ exalted.

Don't spend the currency on a piece of substandard gear. You should have a gearing strategy. If a piece of gear doesn't fit your strategy, do not buy it. (I am assuming you're in Merciless and things are getting harder...)

If you don't have a gearing strategy, come up with one. It will help you refrain from buying great gear that does not advance your character. For example, I am wholly satisfied with my main weapon.

Inexplicable to most. But look at that mana regen. That, and the 3L, are the only attributes I care about. That weapon cost me about 1c. I have been using it for at least 10 levels. If I found one with 55%+ mana regen and '+1 cold gems' I would switch to it, maybe, since I use Arctic Armor all the time (literally, I never turn it off, and it never goes away...)
