Yes,
Like so many others, I am happily playing with my thumbs. Being a silent onlooker with pleasure as the devs work away to finish up the game and the players on the forums seem to be going more smoothely with the community :) When I find something to contribute I'll come back, but at the moment with games like Guild Wars 2 being released today. I'll be very busy untill PoE's game release. And from the looks of it, You all got this covered. Keep up the good work. I'LL BE WATCHING YOU!. hahaha j/ks. See you all in permanent OB(Open Beta) www.tachi203.com : For live streams, gameplay, news of me +(. I've played my fair share of Nexon games. And let me assure you, you'll be back sooner than you think.
It takes about 2-3 patches from launch before a Nexon game goes pay to win. I saw this in Atlantica Online (once, a pretty decent turn-based RPG), Vindictus, and Combat Arms. You'll have a fun first month or so, and then, bam. You'll realize all the best players buy everything from the store and are rich thirteen year olds with trust funds. The fact a game you paid for already has a cash shop SHOULD be troubling you, but it may take a while to sink in. When you come back to POE, you'll be better able to appreciate the ethos GGG practices. Guild Wars 2 isn't nexon, it's Arenanet/NCSoft.

NCSoft still don't have the best track record, but if putting up with NCSoft is the cost of playing Guild Wars 1/2, it's a small price to pay.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period. |

I played Guild Wars 1, and it took five minutes (literally) before I had the first jerk on my ignore-list. But no matter, I still wanted to test Guild Wars 2. I got a beta key, played it an hour or so and uninstalled it. I honestly don't see what the big deal is, other than the F2P model so many other games uses. I'll rather pay a bit each month to have better quality and free content.

" Arg i so got scammed... How are you playing the game for free? i paid 60 bucks to get the game. Please tell me more since you said F2P... OR are you just a troll. Yea maybe a troll. No food in fridge... Beer it is.

" If you are paying a subscription then the content is far from free. Look at WoW and think about how much a player spends in addition to the cost of the expansion for the 3-4 content patches. It is well over $200 dollars. Even at $5 a month that is $60 a year and the turn around for any significant additions to content is going to be a better part of a year. I think GW2 is just getting the same "anything but WoW" hype. So far in my short time playing I've already notice that I'm not immersed in the world at all. |

" You're not that far off. Nexon bought 15% of NCSoft. And this lovely Nexon/NCsoft incest. http://my.mmosite.com/2221790/blog/item/guild_wars_2_team_hires_nexon_employee_as_cash_shop_manager_changes_already_apparent.html |
