I have to say shieldcharge and shockwave totem are really bad as well. So here comes my last ditch effort to save viperstrike. Try to kill the big statues with viperstrike. Try it once at least. Chaos reasistant mobs are really random in poe. All humans, humanlike construkts and some snakes. And the huge statues combine insane armor and health with a silly amount of chaos resist. And you cannot penetrate that. You are going to sit there for a while. Shieldcharge has some huge stuns. Shockwave has knockback. Viperstrike has only damage and that may be great till the end of cruel but it will be laughable at the end of merciless. Bad damage, high resist, no aoe.
go viperstrike :D Sorry for the long post. In the unlikely event of a short post. There sure is something I should feel sorry about anyway.

Whoa don´t let him use shieldcharge he will get even more depressed. Or outright his mind will be gone for good after leveling till 60+ lol
