How did you find POE

heard about it on the d3 forums, then saw krips vid on itemisation in PoE.

Finally had jack of d3 about a week ago. It just wasnt a diablo game. I doubt it ever will be.

I found this game cause i was desperately looking for a ARPG that was cool and that was kinda like the first Diablo but I hated the look of D3 and Torchlight 1 & 2. I liked Titan Quest and was actually looking forward to Grim Dawn cause it had that sorta gritty look but it's supposed to be a bit steam punkish which I think sounds a bit naff. I did an internet search for ARPG's and an article mentioned Path of Exile. So i checked out the website and kissed goodbye to my life, bought Beta access and bobs your uncle.

We were in the same car crash, and PoE saved me before car exploded.

Well i found out by doing some research way back in july-august past year since im kind of a gaming journalist writing for gaming sites myself. As soon as i found out about it i was eager to play it and jumped right in. Was lucky enough to get picked by the random generator in late august.

The sole fact that im still in and out of this game throughout a year time period says something about PoE ...and its getting better and better each time i log in.

Learnt about it through Kripparian's youtube channel. Searched more videos on it. The game looks really great. D3 started to get boring after hitting 60 and tons of grinding lead to nothing.

Heard about poe from torchlight2 forums,where i was beta tester

From a guildy in the ARPG guild im in.

Stumbled upon a "krip plays path of exile" link in Google. Clicked the link and it was a diablo forum thread that had been deleted. The fact that it was deleted made me keep investigating.

my fried give me the link, and he told me this game better then D***O3.
and its free to play.

I read about it several months ago in some forum where someone said it probably will be better than D3 (he was subsequently massively attacked :-(). Back then, I didn't care about D3 or PoE, so except for browsing the website a bit, I let it pass.
Then, I got into D3, and when I started getting frustrated with it (playing less and less), I remembered PoE when I saw a post on the D3 forums. I gave it a try and deinstalled D3 some days later :-)
