Ranger - [1.2.0] Ice Pierce Crit Ranger - Forum

@Mcin - I would 5-link the Glare for fun before selling it to buy a 5L chest. Unless you already have a Kaom's, in which case 5L the rare bow. Yeah. @Krinny - my main issue with that build is: when is "just enough" critical ever enough? What does it add up to? MATH! You know, "balancing" the phys and ele damage will do @#$% all, because all your phys gets converted to ice anyway. I'd more recommend running life-on-hit. Yay, acrobatics. Wouldn't I be taking more ele dmg from reflect though with the black gleam? I'm a bit miffed at evasion too, I thought with 55% evasion, ondars and acrobatics I would have stood a chance at evading my own reflect... guess my accuracy was too high? edited my gear again after some lucky docks runs! Alt regaled the ring (regaled phys dmg O_o) and alched the amulet. Deaths harp is my favourite unique and I was really excited when someone I was running with found it. It definitely is! While I'm still not sure that dealing that damage as physical instead of fire would have saved you, you are right that the blackgleam most definitely did not help. Oh man, I love this build... Pretty fun to use along with Facebreakers Dominating Marauder, who is tanking everything for you :> I had slight problems at merciless, but all I had to do was to resign of some dps due to resistances (now at max, before were at negatives, so reflect was instakilling me :P) I love how you can swap IS with LA and bring in some extra fun ;) BTW, how much dps do you have actually? I'm trying this build and I really like it, i'm going Acrobatics and I'm planning to get 6 frenzy charges and 4 power. I've taken Mind Drinker aswell, do you think it can be used instead of Mana Leech gem at high level with a six linked Ice Shot / Burning Arrow?
