Hey there,
Just hit my latest level, so I tweaked my spec to be able to run Herald of Ash and do Blood Magic Infernal Blow. Have you found Herald of Ash worth the loss of a DPS gem on Infernal Blow? Tried it out in a couple maps and I'm not noticing a big difference in clear speed (I dropped Added Fire). My tooltip DPS dropped about 9k (from 49k to 40k), but I am only using a Level 14 / 0 Quality Herald of Ash. Nor have I removed Mana Flows yet (because if I'm only using mana for auras, why spec into extra mana and mana regen?). Between not being able to run support skills like Decoy Totem and Lightning Warp, I'm unsure if Herald of Ash is worth it. Does the 15% Extra Fire Damage from the 20% Quality really make up that much of a difference? My Builds:

The herald of ash is only good IF you already want to use blood magic support gem. You don't use BM because of the herald of ash. Herald of ash is what helps you to cut down the loss of added fire damage after you've decided that you want to use BM support gem
Using BM support gem has some good sides: 1. You don't have to worry about your mana 2. You can run Hatred + Determination + Herald of Ash ( explained how maybe 123751235 times already + it is in the guide ) 3. You don't have to worry about mana leech on your gear. 4. You free a flask slot because you no longer need a mana flask. 5. You free 2-4 skill points from your passive skill tree Using BM support gem has its downsides too: 1. Loosing the Added fire damage support gem which means that you are loosing damage. 2. Being forced to use BM for all your support skills ( lightning warp, immortal call etc. etc. ) "I'm going to show you pain you never knew existed, you're going to see a whole new spectrum of pain!!!!! Like a RAINBOW!"

Yeah. I've got the Hatred + Determination + HoA combo going with it. I was mostly trying to figure out if it was worth the swap and decided to tinker with it.
If it didn't have the unfortunate side effect of setting your minions on fire, it would be incredibly strong for a Dominating Blow build. I was actually trying to figure out how many more points I would need to run Infernal Blow on my tiny remaining many pool by taking Reduced Mana nodes and the Reduced Mana Reservation nodes. The answer: way too many. :) I suspect I'll switch back to my old non-Herald of Ash build at some point in the near future. Fun to tinker with it at the cost of a couple Regret Orbs though. I am having trouble with reaching dps levels that you guys have, can someone tell me what am I doing wrong? I am currently hitting only 19k dps. Next 8 nodes I must take are health nodes so I can have atleast 4-5-5k health on level 80. Thanks!

The difference can likely be explained by the level and quality of your gems along with your non-legacy Facebreaker.
I have a 995% legacy Facebreaker that I literally just got yesterday. I was using a 782% one, which is close to your's, and the difference for me is about 10,000 DPS. Your Faster Attacks via Bringer of Rain is always going to be Level 12 with 0 Quality, which is 36% increased attack speed. My 20/20 is 54%. Your Melee Physical is Level 18, which is 47% More Physical Damage. My 20/20 is 49% More and 10% Increased. You also have Life Leech instead of Added Fire. For comparison, here is my current setup using a 6L Chest (ignore the Herald of Ash - that was for testing as I talked about just a bit ago). I think Abyssus + 6L Chest is going to give out more DPS than a Bringer of Rain setup. With my non-legacy Facebreaker I was pushing around 39-40k DPS with this setup. Non-legacy Facebreaker is fine. I ran that setup above through Ambush league and had no problems with upper 70's maps.
I'd advise life and mana leech on your gear if at all possible. One of the many reasons I like Daresso's is that you get life leech on your chest. But it certainly isn't easy! It took me a good chunk of Ambush to gear my character this way. Everything except the 6L Chest (I used a 5L in Ambush) and the Legacy Facebreaker I got in Ambush. I made no changes except for those two and the divine flasks (when they came out) when I hit Standard at the end of the league. Good luck! Also don't forget that the difference between Abyssus + 6L chest vs Bringer of Rain is huge when it comes to damage.
To get an idea what would be the difference ... unequip your amulet and ring and see whats the difference .. pretty much thats the difference between Abyssus + 6L chest vs boR "I'm going to show you pain you never knew existed, you're going to see a whole new spectrum of pain!!!!! Like a RAINBOW!"
