Destroyed by Chaos in Merciless

How do witches survive the chaos damage? Any advise would be welcome.

High life/es definetly makes it much easier/safer for any character, but it should not be a blocker until you get better equipment.

For instance I have two characters in anarchy, one of them it's a level 48 physical cleaver Duelist, wich has 790 hps and like 10 ES... and he is doing pretty fine in act 3 cruel so far, it's all about playstyle and knowing how to confront the different monster types; the only problem he has atm is elemental resists, that are too low, but cant help that without better drops.

The other a lvl 52 summoner witch (that was luycky enough to get bones of Ullr to drop) but apart of that has regular gear so far and is doing fine just beeing cautious; for instance she may be in the 1k ES and 800 hps, more or less like yours, and is atm on act 3 cruel with few issues so far. Here is the tree she has atm:

Be sure to get at least three good life potions XXX of Animation (to heal your minions), one XXX of Staunching (that one will remove your bleeding) and when you get one an Amethyst potion; those will make life much easier. To make your monster last longer try to at least have a 4L like this (nothing special as you can see):


and male your minion's life easier, so your's is too :)

I'll interested to hear how the OP does when actually gets to a part of Merciless that has chaos damage....

This is after the nerf to alchemists? How much were they nerfed really? How much damage do you guys take from bomb and ground slime? And how much resists? Would be nice to see and compare numbers..

All in all It's just a pie throwing contest at the OP, that obviously have no clue about the game and cant comprehend 800 es is to low, and hp probably even lower whiles he doesn't have CI.
