[1.1] Davos Seaworth's Elemental Split Arrow Build - Solo every map with ease!

Great guide, iam giving it a try at the moment, started as ranger evrything works fine. But i still have one question.

Do i have to link Split Arrow in the bow in order to profit from the bows elemental damage?

does voltaxic rift work well for this build?

thinking about finding a 5L or getting a 6socket and trying to link it myself

OK so I'm level 48 with this build and I really am enjoying it. I really have only a few gripes.

I get hit. Hard. It becomes very scary. I feel like this build needs more than just Sentinel so I went Leather and Steel. Hope to Christ I haven't effed this all up.

Currently lvl 68 in Nemesis, the highest I have ever reached thanks to this build! The only modification I'm using is LA instead of Split Arrow, but it works fine and I just love LA more.

Why do people say Elemental Hit does more DPS than Frenzy?
From my own character's experience, seems like Frenzy always does slightly more damage with no charges, but easily out DPSes Ele Hit once you get some charges going.

I was testing using 4L Frenzy/Ele hit + WED + LL + BM.

Bloodrage only leeches physical damage so its a bad idee. The other should work i think.

That would be fine minus blood rage. As another said, it only leeches physical. Sure, taking more frenzy charges would increase your single target dps substantially as well as add 5% attack speed to split arrow and all other spells you use. Just don't spend too many passive points to get them. Definitely not more than 2 passives per frenzy charge.

Though if you use elemental hit I would not recommend picking up any additional frenzy charges, nor would I recommend getting it as a bandit reward in merciless. You can get 8% attack speed instead. Elemental Hit was better at one point, it may still be but since it was nerfed I have not tried it. But it's definitely not as strong as it was. It's pretty hard to tell in any case since there is no tooltip dps number associated with EH last I checked.
