[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

Here is an Update for my progress.

this is my build thus far, at level 66. I have 3 respec points presently.

this is my gear.



My dps with LS is 873.2, and with double strike is 1178. Flicker is 1779.6. Those numbers are with wrath up. Blood Rage is at level 16.

before discipline I have 2624 ES.

after, I have 3363.

My chance to evade is an even 30% with grace.

resists in merciless are

fire: 22%
cold: 44%
light: 27%

my plan in regards to skill points is to get the dagger nodes in the top right up to flaying, and then work my way up and left of inner force to get the strong arm/bloodthirsty up there.

My gear plans are to change out those terrible gloves first and foremost. I'm not sure if I want my gloves to be pure ES, hybrid or Evasion. I would guess pure ES, but then the guide recommends I have a pure ES, a hybrid and a pure evasion piece in my helm/gloves/feet slots, and maybe I need something else for my gloves?

I am also not sure if I should be fusing and chroming the gear I have now or saving more funds for upgrades. I cant stand my links presently, and while my damage is low its getting it done so far, with more nodes to support that on the horizon.

I have 2 exalted orbs saved up, How should I spend them? Does my plan make sense to you guys? Please advise!

This explains a lot. Would be nice if the tool tip of GR would state as much.
In this case I have to respec out of GR at least temporary. I rushed GR based on the idea that a 50% change of not getting stunned by always having at least some ES will help me. But at this point I only have crappy ES gear. Max-life is 10x my ES so with GR I'm artificially capping my leech.

Hey Xoth, most of the advice I would give, is on the previous page in a long post I made about prepping and playing in high end maps. So my first advice would be to get a lot more resists, u need 75% in all on merc. or else ur get wrecked. The second piece of advice would be to invest in a new neck. If you look at the guide he lists the Unique neck as situational, aka PvP. In PvE you want a neck with Crit chance and Crit multiplier a good example is the one I myself use:



You don't need to be immune to stun for PvE purposes, you only really get stunned in maps when you get yourself in a poor position and take a truck load of damage.

The Final piece of advice I would give gear wise is to get more accuracy. I notice that you went Adder's Touch before getting the Dagger talents that give u damage and accuracy. I would encourage you to maybe respec those points into the Dagger damage and accuracy that you already plan on picking up, as well as picking up the 6% all resist nodes. Accuracy is really good! And it's also really cheap, people are yet to understand how important it is as a stat so getting good gear with high accuracy will increase your DPS a lot but won't cost as much as say, getting crit gear.

first off use the spoiler-tags, second use the URL-tag to.

you can start of upgrading your gloves, boots, no need for eye of chayula and dream fragment if your not doing maps, or in situation fights. and another thing is, why dont you 4 link your stuff?? like boots and gloves?? it will raise your dps and reduce the mana cost on your auras, if your using any auras with reduced mana.

your 2 exalts save them so you can get real nice upgrades with just 2 exalts you wont get far

I asked the quesiton a few pages ago but got no answer to it, I currenetly have 85% dealy recovery. I asked the question IG and got an answer for the capping issue (it's not capped)

60 fusings for 5 Link.

I think averages are 220 Jewelers for 6 sockets and 41 Fusings for 5-link (or better) on a 6-S item. So you were quite unlucky. For reference, it takes 62 Fusings on average to get 5 links on a 5-S item.

Hias folks! A question to you "end gamers";

Im at level 68 with only 35% crit chance and only 1700 unbuffed ES (CI-specced).
I actually manage pretty fine tho, specially in groups, but its all a matter of "do not tank huge mobs" and not getting too cocky.. but have done all Quests in Merciless now doing pretty fine.

But where do you farm ES-gear in A3? Docks only or got any better place except maps?
I really need to find better ES-gear, but it seems to never drop. Tried crafting but only getting jackshit. All my friends are keeping an eye out for chest, shield etc but ist mainly level 50-items droppin...

Also, I wonder, in Invalescos build Im supposed to pick up nodes down to Vaal Pact and then going upwards to a node area called "Buff Effect" with Inner Force. Exactly what are the benefits from these Buff-nodes? Its a "winning" node, I mean it adds 30% to Frenzy, Discipline etc without increasing mana cost if I understand it correct? Is it worth it?

With my current Discipline gem I would get 54 more Energy Shield after speccing those three nodes, increasing the buff with 30% (at my current gem level). Wouldnt you rather invest those three points in any of the Increased Crit Chance nodes giving +15% chance x3?

+1 ! ... I would advice everyone atleast during leveling up phase to try to get white 4-linked stuff, craft it and use it - or fuse current gear as much as possible since it really does a HUGE difference if you are using support gems linked to a spell.

In this case Lighthing Strike have no support at all!
Even a tiny mana leech support gem would probably make difference..

i have mega hard time on merciless act 2 with this build..if theres any high lvl crit shadow who wants to pass his equip ill be very grateful..i have just shit ones and cant trade any neither
