Kripp Discharger die - most funny death ever

Are there any actual Hardcore players out there?
You know, ones who's first instinct isn't to log out at the first sign of trouble?

Hardcore my ass.

Primary instinct of hardcore is to avoid anything that can even remotely come close to posing a threat, and log out at the first sign of trouble.
Krip doesn't tend to log out, and he likes to go places that are wicked dangerous. My play style is the same, and you are going to die because of it sometimes. It is a lot more fun though.
That said, he definitely shouldn't have used discharge.

Well when you play a build on onslaught that has terrible defense and you think you can tank a pack of undead rhoas with haste...what did he expect to happen

I think he just got so jaded with the rerolling and leveling that he threw all caution out the window.

He could have EASILY leggoed out during the whole time he was getting stunned, but he just stood there trying to cast his discharge. Even after he saw that the discharge didn't kill the Rhoas, he STILL didn't try to log out. It was painful to watch, but I kinda have to sympathize with him.

This. No need to jump on the "Hate Kripp"-bandwagon.

I just astonishing that he get a lot of hate because he love the game and a streamer. It pretty childish. His a good player.

Anyway PoE is crashing on me in Mud Flats. 6 times now and I die once due to the crash. One of many reason why I stop playing HC. I'll try the Fetid Pool run if the game stop crashing on me.
Please, please quit pulling the desync-card sheesh ... he got murdered by undead rhoas, it happens (my worst HC death was to a pack of undead champ rhoas). Those things are murderous. They will stun-lock you in a pack, they do mucho damage, c'mon of all people Kripp knows this.

"I just desynced for, like, a year" - NOT, you played rushed & sloppy, be a man & own up to it
BLAMT!
Here Fetid Pool +6 levels above my discharge tank Witch. Map and character lvl is on the video. Using substandard equipment. Skill tree on the video. You can build it without high end gears. Switch to HD for better video quality.

I do think Krip version is flawed. To play discharge you need a lot of survivability. Once you discharged your defense will suffer. If you can't kill them in one shot or if your build can't survive an alpha strike than you basically screwed.

Discharge will die to elemental reflect. Way too much damage to migrate, for my build anyway. DoT like poison counters stacking will kill the build. Puncher will kill if you're not aware of it.

My next build will be the ultimate defense, Shadow with evasion with enough DPS to kill larges mob effortlessly. Using substandard gears. Good times.
