I for once am very happy that a player from softcore is number 1 in onslaught.. I'm a bit fed up with all the comments from "Krip and company". There are players that are in softcore because their countries have heavy lag (I never have bellow 300 ping. NEVER) and there are players that just happened to start from softcore and continued there because they had a goal(yes that's Havoc). All this "scrubcore" trend that is being going on in POE is truly unacceptable.. A player that reaches level 100 in standard is amazing.. He knows the game inside out exactly as a hardcore player like Krip does. Havoc is proving it.. Lets hope he can continue being number one and shut some mouths:D
Ahh, so we go from people complaining about Kripp fanboys to Havoc fanboys? If you are gonna bash someone and be a fanboy, your opinion is completely devalued.
As far as the difference between softcore and hardcore, softcore definitely has its advantages, aka being able to try as many builds as you want and not worry about dieing. Hardcore is hardcore because you never die, something that softcore can never boast. Yes every build is built with survivability in mind, so there isn't that build freedom that softcore has. However, the mindset that no matter what challenge you are going to face and not succumb to death is pretty awesome (I don't care about Kripp or Havoc because they are both great players).
They don't call it softcore and hardcore for nothing.
If you think that there isn't a huge difference between softcore and hardcore as well as the players, then you are completely ignorant and should stop posting.
Person A: Enjoys the versatility of his game and wants to explore all aspects, grind with no fear, etc., plays scrubcore.
Person B: Enjoys the single challenge of not dieing and will cater his entire gameplay to that one respect, plays alt-f4-core.
Havoc and Kripp are NOT the same thing, and are both on different levels compared to each other. Stop being a fucking fanboy dumpster.

Havoc is getting carried.
He will die eventually.

They don't call it softcore, it's standard.
I have a lvl 85 in standard who is solo, self found, has no deaths and has never 'cowarded' out of a situation with esc or alt-f4.
Tell me how was that different or easier on standard, tell me how it would be different or more difficult on HC.
So you chose the wrong league, your fault. Those are obviously respectable qualities, but the only relevant one to the leagues is not having died. I hate to break it to you, but however awesome it may be that you haven't died, anyone would say that there is no comparison to achieving the same feat in hardcore, because you took no risk playing softcore.
My bad, they recently changed the name from softcore to standard, as if that is a base for any argument.

You do realise that Krip and havoc are in the same league ? And that Havoc is winning ?!
(i like them both, cuz simply the 2 are good players)
Please read Zhatan's post.
Havoc is ahead right now, and given the amount that both Kripp and Havoc play, Havoc will probably stay ahead honestly. But trying to compare who is "better" based on 5 days in a new league is hardly comparable. And, not to mention, better at what? Havoc got first 100, Kripp got #1 S1 Racing. Once again, you can't compare them, especially not after 5 days of being in the same league.

I didn't choose the wrong league, I chose the league I wanted to play, because the HC tag means nothing to me in a game where HC is apparently buying your gear and avoiding challenge as much as possible.
As for achieving the same in HC, there is no difference whatsoever when self found. When trading, there is the difference of available gear, but again, in a game, where on Standard or HC, you can farm currencies in absolute safety and use your account collected wealth to buy anything you want, it's apples to apples.

They changed it from Default to Standard, it was only ever called softcore by people in HC, because they can't seem to figure that something that isn't labelled hardcore doesn't automatically become the literal opposite, softcore.
Casually casual.

Someone is winning a 4 month race after 5 days?
But it will be intresting to see at the end, who is on top and who is dead. He seems good enough, for a scrubcore player.
From a personal best lvl 78, lawl.
From a scrubcore player that keeps going after he dies, LOL.

Goratha bit the dust today and put Havoc aka HvC aka HvR at the number one spot. Think he will be the first to 100 in two leagues? I for one am excited for him after all the grief he got for getting to 100 in SC, now he will have some true bragging rights if he can pull it off.
Can he do it in 4 months tho?
