"kripps" CI Cyclone Claw build help for onslaught
" I levelled up as cyclone all the way. My estimate for lvl85 is because its my first character in this league and well... you can get lucky, or not. So far my luck with es gear is below 0. The demand is so high its pretty hard to buy anything too. I dont like the route you took because its going to be a while before you can get the 4 claw nodes next to the shadow tree, and these actually do more for your survivability than anything else on the tree. I bought a 12% bloodrage and the total life leech right now I have is 22%, I can cyclone in pretty much any pack of trash mobs safely. I feel like the 6% block node in the duelist start is just too good to skip. And tempest shield is really nice with cyclone & unwavering stance. Also, the life nodes next to vaal pact are pretty much mandatory since they nerfed the shit out of everything else :( IGN : @Hrrrrrrgh

" Thanks for the tips about the life nodes. I had forgotten about the ones near Vaal. And yeah, I thought I'd not rush to the claw nodes simply because I'm leveling with cleave, so I was trying to time them with my respec into CI. I should enough currency to get everything at the same time. I'm mainly staying alive through Life Leech on my cleave, but what you did seems more effective. Still need to run some calculations when I reach 65~ or so, to see if I can safely respec then. | |

Guys, just started this build with my personal idea in mind.
First of all, you all do the same mistake, even Kripp said a hint for everybody - you should aim at lowest moving speed as possible, but you all take Leather and Steel node. The slower you move, the longer you move with Cyclone, the longer you move with Cyclone the more you spin, more spins - more damage. Simple as it is. I am planning my build somewhat like this: Thats around lvl 44. I will have tons of armor and good life pool. The only thing I will lack is probably damage, but that also depends on luck what weapons I find. Next thing is to respec at around lvl 70-80, depends on your gear and currency. I am aiming at something like this: It is level 85+, but all important nodes you geat around lvl 60, from there you gameplay will get only better with better gear and more ES nodes. 40% armour & evasion with iron reflexes is more important than slower movespeed. What you want to do is try to avoid movespeed on boots and you're just fine.

"4 spare points " Overall its much better to go left through armor to go grab vaal pact. No point in going the dex nodes routes, especially since you're lacking on damage & hp early on. IGN : @Hrrrrrrgh

Hey guys Im trying to build this as well in normal HC.
Question I have what auras will we be running? Im guessing +ES and Grace and maybe Hatred/purity? I am going to start buying ES gear for when I can make the change, what is mandatory before you can do the swap? is it 4k ES after tranistion or before just from gear? and 8k Armour? what passive nodes are needed I read that the claw nodes are needed so from my calculations you really are looking at a minimum of level 70. Respeccing at 70-75 for me is fine I just need some help with what auras/supports I need to level alongside with so Im ready to rock and roll when I change. Thanks guys | |
