I was being dumb. I thought the new dot bonus for blue/rares applied to spectres now so the level wasn't important, but rather the bonus. I was just wrong. So a 66 map is a huge waste of time.

You dont even get that, spectre levels are based on the "base monster" if you use a magic/rare/unique monster to spectrefy, its still set to the map level. They confirmed that at some point in the past and they havent altered that part at all with the DoT changes.

I have been thinking about it for the longest time but Dextera helped me test the 6-L 2-handed weapon and a 1 handed weapon snap shotting theory

you need a weapon a mace or sword in this socket configuration

Summon your zombie/spectre in a 2h weapon

As long as the zombie or spectre gem lines up(same slot) as the one on the 2h you can cast the zombie go into town unequip the gem and place it into the 1h slot. The zombie will still be alive

This means we essentially have 2 6-links, and a ton of extra slots left over.

should do yes, although they are different versions of the same skill so might want to PM him just to confirm it does happen incase BM's get forgotten :p

Ok temple piety is a fucking joke now. Dead in 3 seconds from super CoD zombies.

im having one hell of a time leveling this build right now, im level 28 and my zombies dont do much (as i read they wont for a while) even with the unstable passive. my question is what seems to be the best skill(s) to use to get me to the point where my summons can fend for them selves.

Why do you need a BBBBRG Chober? If its for spectre, save that for an easy armor roll, and instead set it up for zombies perhaps? Lot fewer off colors than the almost impossible rolll your going for. Plus they can actually use the +1 Minion and Melee Gem levels more effectively.

If Concentrated Effect works for them now, oh man, bring on a whole new level of stupid damage.

Also, there was a Grasp nerf in the patch that probably snuck by most people.

Question is, will it use the 16% or 31% penalty? Guessing 31% since the corpse explosion has no primary target.

the armor piece should be zombies so you can wield Grasp when summoning them.

Mmmm seems like a good idea but if u press X to switch weps you will lose your spectres

I don't even feel the grasp nerf from the massive 304% more dmg am getting from CoD. If one mob in the pack dies they all die.

Am 6Ling my zombies and 5Ling my spectres using the tabula

RZ - faster - mstrike - msplash - CoD - meleephy

1st Bm: RZ(zombie place holder) - RS - minlife - mindmg - incAoe - burndmg

2nd Bm: RZ(zombie place holder) - RS - minlife - mindmg - ConEff - burndmg

I basically have a free helmet now not entirely sure what to do with it.
