Ar Large Chests random in normal areas?
In some areas I found one of them, but when I run again the area, there is not Large Chests.... Any idea or suggestion? |

Only certain areas have a chance to spawn them, and they're rare. RNG.

Large chests have a chance to spawn in certain areas, I dont know then all but I'm sure you can find a list of possible spawning locations. use this -----> www.google.com ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ It's a great tool for finding out information on Poe Type PoE and then your question and you will either be linked to the forums or the wiki to help you :D "Beta"

Large chests are a waste of time. Like 2 wisdom scrolls, 1 portal scroll, 8 whites, and 3-5 blues. I farm catacombs alot and this is the average drop. Best drop I got from catacombs large chest was an augment orb, out of like 40 chests.

Yeah, the drops are crap usually but it doesn't detract from it being exciting to see one, in my mind. I think it's because the chance to actually find one is so rare and random, oh and the fact that they're usually guarded by multiple packs of blue mobs.
PoE needs more random, almost trivial stuff like this, so re-running instances for a thousand of times while levelling alts or farming the same zone over and over would actually be exciting. |

Large chests, thou art a heartless bitch.
Aside from the obvious RNG, Large chests only spawn in "underground" or "indoor" areas. This includes all caves, and areas such as solaris temple and crematorium. Some areas like catacombs have a higher change to spawn them though. This means that any open levels like docks, crossroads or the ledge can NOT spawn chests. Hope this helps. |
