Season Two, Event 89: 90 Min Fixed Seed Solo

Never got map revealed. Reset instance or otherwise. All players way ahead of me. Time to quit yet again...

my minimap wasn't revealed either. wasn't able to verify map layout.

Map is not reavealed at start but rather never fades ones you've revealed it. I really hope the revealev aprt wont stay for the next as its gonna be really unfair.

Lol i was playing a little too scared after having played 4 turbos before. I probably shouldn't have skilled so much life early on. Ah well, at least i survived this one! :D

I was so stupid an thought about progressing, should've just farmed Western. Had terrible Weapon RNG until lvl 19, then i found

which obviously evened it out a bit :) though i didn't have 2 red links with that one anymore.


oh and yeah the mini map reveal didn't work at all. i had some shitty maps too T_T

one of the mods at the start of the race thought the mini map gets revealed when it starts. pah, it did not.

Just play it as a normal race.

anyway in the next one it seems like i can see everything what i previously revealed. so apparently new guys will see nothing again.

My minimap was also only revealed after i had done the instance. This doesn't seem to be the way it was intended, and certainly doesn't tie up with how it's worded.

Since there are several of these all in a row I would think this is working exactly as intended. It's an incremental progression race. The wording however is very confusing and needs to be changed.

No, this can't be the case. If something is "automatically fully revealed" it's not that you have to manually reveal it first.
Beside that, there were two GGG devs in the first race in chat and after so many people were questioning and complaining, they would have directly clarified it, if this really was working as intended.

If it were my decision, this would be the standard format and the random/unrevealed seed races would be the custom variant that got played only a few times per season.

It would be good if you didn't need to do prior races to uncover the areas, that is just silly.
