Temporary IIQ and IIR buffs after killing a blue, rare or unique.
Yesterday Gneiss was surounded by 3 rares, so the fight was very hard. After the fight I discovered no good items. The idea is that very difficult situations like this get a bonus for facing it.
The idea is this:
Killing a blue, a 5% IIQ and IIR buff for 20 seconds
Killing a rare, a 10% IIQ and IIR buff for 1 minute
Killing an unique, a 15% IIQ and IIR buff for 2 minutes
Killing a boss, a 25% IIQ and IIR buff for 5 minutes
Buffs stack, but do not refresh.
(I think the 5 minute race after killing a boss is a fun thing.)
I don't say the proposal is balanced, but it's about the idea behind it.

And a new skill for melee characters: downburst. Like the natural phenomenon it blows a great amounds of air from a central point (in this case the character) dealing a small/medium amount of psychical damage, but gives a 100% chance, 200% distance knockback to the surounding foes.

How about a gem that makes your normal attacks do splash damage? Combined with viper strike for instance it would apply poison to enemies in close proximity to your target. If this already exists please tell me and I'm sorry for wasting you time :p
Maybe, now I know you can already do missions with your friends but how about some game modes like, CTF TDM KOTH, now I know that these are stuff that are for FPS games but I always wonder if it could work in a mmorpg game. Second not sure if it is in-game yet but how about a revive item? It be super-rare, but at the same time extremely useful.

I lack cloaks or armor+cloaks badly! Although they are hard to animate, but maybe some day you will share some love to agi/agi+int/int armors?

My suggestion about reworking the idea about party loot:
If you do choose "Individual loot", you wont get better loot although you still in party.
If you do choose "Shared loot", you will get better loot, just as it is now.

Yet another suggestion about buy/sell buttons on the NPCs. Maybe already suggested there, but still:
Remove the "sell" button.
Place "sell" tab on the bottom or on the any side (instead of top) of buying frame, so players would be able to switch trading mode in one frame, without closing it.
May be combined with that redesign idea.

Adding a special visual effects:
For onhit action depended on what is the highest element the attacker has. If no element, then just keep it as it is now.
For blocking/evading actions. I have no ideas on what kind of visual effect have it be.

Adding a turnable combat log:
Just as it is in WoW, but not that spammy.
Few options: player's combat log, enviroment combat log.
The first one would contain all the things that happening with a player, such as blocking stuff, evading, taking damage, elemental statuses.
The second one would contain all the enviroment stuff, such as damage taken by mobs, evading/blocking damage by mobs, taking elemental statuses, taking critical strikes, and other stuff.

Thats pretty much it.

Can shields get some love too? Right now the only shield-exclusive skill seems to be Shield Charge. Also what are the Dev's thoughts on them? Do they see them as more of a passive tool akin to quivers for bows?

All in engine is well ...

Diablo-1 dark stile, not disappearing corpses & particles !
This is very important and adds realism and detail to you game !

It's absent for example in Torchlight II\diablo-3 ...
(and it is their fault as developers)



*But there also are some pluses -
(in the above projects)

1.) Diablo-3 - physics of bodies ...
If you hit with a cudgel(or with similar) lightweight target -
he can fly off at a decent distance !

This looks very impressive ... Can you add it in you project ?
I understand that diablo-3 use full 3d engine but ...



2.) Torchlight II - Opportunity to break the surrounding objects -
wooden barrels - as in diablo-1, wooden boxes ..
some stone pillars for lighting...
(the light from them is lost if break them !)

If you can - please add more environmental objects that
can be break !


Also, if possible - the burning grass, trees, bushes ..

Falling trees, palm trees...
It will be very impressive!



3.) If possible - add seasons of the year ...
(with different decorations & monsters for each ...)
