Also left d3, hoping PoE has a great feel to it. It looks promising :) hope to get the enjoyment from this title that I'm looking for. Yadda Yadda Yadda D3 lacks diversity / challenge / players / stable economy / worthwhile loot / balanced affixes for both items and monsters.. etc.. yadda yadda..

Hoppin' on the Exile bandwagon. D3, so dissapoint in comparison.

Came from diablo3 as well. This game looks amazing like D1 and D2. Gonna god damn uninstall diablo3 if I got a key.

D3 has some good qualities in it, but I think PoE is moving in the right direction. Taking chances and it seems to be paying off.

I've been thinking about this a lot; I put over 175+ hours into Diablo III, and while it won't last me 10+ years like Diablo II did, I still think with that many hours put into the game, it's still a success. I see a lot of people who claim to have put even more time into the game than that, and call it "an epic fail", and I really don't understand that sentiment.

Not every game needs to last you years and years, vast majority of games you play 20 - 40 hours and move on.

The funny thing is that PoE seems more worthy of the title Diablo 3 than the actual Diablo 3.

Can't believe that I even bought D3. Cain killed by butterflies, RMAH governing everything in the game, content made to force players to RMAH, Jay Wilson, Mike Morhaines retarded letter, dead community, fanboys trying to convince themselves that the game wasn't a complete failure, lolipop candy rainbow graphics.

This game is what I was looking for. Old medeval gritty look and a diablo 2 feeling.

Can't wait for a beta-key/open beta.

I still have emulators for my N64 and ps2 with old titles like ffx +ffx2, super smash bros, zelda ocarina and majoras, these titles have more hours played on them then d2 and d3 combined.. maybe even wow too and they still bring hours of enjoyment to this day. (Especially since you can't count out the fact that SSB for n64 was one of the most fun multiplayer games ever lmao) >.<

D3 lacks enjoyment.. If it's not something that can be listed in a few constructed paragraphs, as many players have attempted. It should (IMO of course) be described as...

"A general lack of player immersion resulting in lost interest and playerbase in a relatively short period of time."

Maybe due to the over-simplified character builds... or ruined economy.. or the "Ghost-town" effect..either way, many players don't seem to be content with d3 very long and most seem to be saying its because there is a LACK of something they are interested in.. not that there is TOO MUCH to handle. (Other than maybe a few posts about monster affixes, which is understandable.)

Just my two cents - Really hoping PoE is more like a "d3" than what blizz managed to put out..
