I came here from Diablo 3!!! [Please post here if you did as well!]

I'm jumping ship as well, good to see so many others here, and even BETTER finding out more about this game which seems to have been truly designed by, and for, fans of the ARPG genre. (Shame on Blizzard entertainment. I can't express how deeply they've disappointed me)

Can't wait for my key!

Came from D3 as many of you guys. First, d3 was fun but I got bored with it very quickly. I tried hardcore but they changed the time you stay in game after disconnect (probably to fix some exploits) and every disconnect kills you. After 5 x 60's lost chars due to disconnects I went back to softcore.
There's not much to do later in the game. Bugs, exploits, gold spammers and server restarts made it even worse. On top of it, anti-social atmosphere of multiplayer where every piece of loot is potential real money completely ruined the game for me.
PoE on the other hand seems solid if to speak about end-game contents. Besides there are so many builds you can try so playing it over and over must be fun. I haven't tried it yet, still waiting on my beta key but I've read most articles and watched all the videos and can be pretty sure I'll like it.
Can't wait to play it!

There is a good chance I will be using my points for my own league so if there is any new people to the beta that may want in on it in the future send me a PM :)

I actually never got d3, the demo was enough.

New guy signing in. I really try to give D3 a try. But half way into NM I can't take it no more. Can't wait to see what PoE has to offer, still downloading...

i still play diablo 3 (got here from a discussion on blizzard forum) and i'm having fun with it, but after i watched some gameplay videos of PoE, including the end game video, i almost can't believe how empty diablo 3 feels. really looking forward to this, subscribed to the newsletter so i don't forget. :)

i got really suprised this will be available for free, i would GLADLY pay at least $10 for this. looks amazing!

I finally gave up. I took all 5 classes to NM, but just couldn't go on anymore. I'm really having a most excellent time playing PoE. Its truly an amazing game...
