Haha, welcome all you people from D3! I was about to get it myself, but then i did hold off as i found this.

Personally i think, what is being presented here, definitely deserves recognition and the devs seem nice as a people, so i bought a key.

Now looking forward to it.

Have patience and believe in the random beta key generator or donate $10 to show your support for the game.

$10 for a beta key now that will give you an idea how to make your character builds before the game comes out and get the basics in the game and it also gives you points for the cash shop to spend on, basically it's like your per-purchasing cash shop points.

D3 brought me to tears because I was so disappointed :( Also, I was never lucky enough to get its annual pass, so I wasted $60 on it. When you don't make a ton of money, it's a lot to sink into a game based on hype (when I got the game, lots were praising it as the next sliced bread lol).

This look really fun, so I hope everything stays positive like it is now!

They just don't make them like they used to. But the dev team being different, it is no surprise. You don't let a carpenter do electric wiring, only bad things can occur.

im a diablo 2 fan and after the dissapointment of d3 im here :>.

I was going to try and play the last couple classes through the D3 once on normal, but after last night playing for about 3hrs with a witch doctor and just going through the motions...bored as hell, selling everything because the loot is crap, yeah as soon as I have some time I'm trying out PoE.

I came from D3. Thank you for posting on the forums over there so I could find out about this remarkable indie project :) I bought a beta key immediately!

D3 is okay but late game it turns into a joke and quickly becomes very disappointing.

Path of exile is great. I love the gem/skills, orb/currency system, the passive skill tree and the gfx. The fact it comes from NZ, the whole works.

Not too sure about the leveling, though. It would be great to test it at level 100 to see how it plays. Seems a shame to theory builds on the skill tree and then not be able to make them completely. I feel as though it's a little restrictive at the moment.

There are so many possible builds for classes in the game and I want to try them all! But, I also want a life and not have it take too long to build up a character.

I would happily make another donation to start a character closer to the highest difficulty level and begin from there to see how it feels.

I came from D3, but I'm not going to say the game was a disappointment because honestly it was a lot of fun. I got my moneys worth but I've hit a point where grinding for gear just isn't satisfying to me anymore. I'm ready to try something new, and maybe once I've had my fill of this game, I can give D3 another shot.
