Decoded No data

Restart your pc, this same message but previously I went out and I guess it was because juge a game before and I post something in memory and restart it worked well
This error is getting a tad annoying.

I first experienced it in lots of Act 3 zones when returning after a break. I came back just hours before the balance patch, and entered the Act 3 merciless zones after patching. The zones crashed on entry, but when trying after restarting the game, they worked just fine.

And that was the story until a day or two ago. Just visit all the Act 3 zones, and crash on about half of them. Once...

I started playing Anarchy, and Normal went fine. Now I am back in Act 3 cruel. I crashed entering the Crematorium, which annoyed me as I had surely done it in normal. I deleted all files but the .exe and downloaded again.

Cruel was mostly OK, but going back to docks after the initial clear, the error popped up. And again now entering the Catacombs cruel for the first time.

Since it crashes just once, I doubt a corrupt pack file is the reason. The game being open for a long time (I tend to mute it and afk), could be related. But maybe it is some synch error between memory and the pack file or something? The initial impression was that each zone crashed once (only Act 3 ones, and not all of them), but now I am quite sure Docks was a repeat offender. When it crashed it had already been played once after downloading the game files again.

I have an X-FI and use the softwareaudio flag. This crash is a bunch of errors being shown, the X-FI crash is much nastier, and does not fix itself by restarting the game.

Hey there,

You may want to give this a try:
This usually occurs when your game file runs out of ram, common on PCs with low ram or running 32bit versions of windows. Running the game with Texture Quality set to Medium usually fixes this, though having less than 4gb of ram will cause problems after changing areas a number of times. We will improve the memory recovery system in future.
You can also reduce the rate of these crashes slightly by adding -gc 2 to the end of your Path of Exile shortcut target, as shown here: http://i.imgur.com/UYl4uhB.png
I also get this problem infrequently with hardly any occurrence in Act 1, Act 2 a little more often an frequently in Act 3.

I have tried numerous methods suggested already an some of me own.

An yes 32 bit System ... low end ...

MS Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 @ 2.13GHz 36 °C
RAM 4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 533MHz

Currently using latest creative sound drivers.

Now I'm sure this question may sound strange but what .ogg decoding drivers would you recommend for 32/64 bit systems to use with POE.

Please oh Please (Just about begging) message back to me if a solution can't be posted publicly for liability reasons but one may exist.
@Henry_GGG

Sorry forgetting about checking this thread.

I doubt my PC is out of memory. I recently upgraded it, and it runs 16GB of ram on Windows 7 64-bit.

When it first happened after returning, I walked through each Act 3 waypoint, and popped into the "easy zones" next to waypoints. Load game, enter zone. Crash. Load game, back to zone, enter successfully. Then move to new zone. Maybe next one is OK, then the next one after that crashes. This was not isolated to "old" sessions.

Today for the first time I had this error in a zone as I met a monster (spider in Shadowy Forest). And I crashed afk in the Act 2 camp with a weta sound file error. Each time it is sound related. This were the first times I have had this happen outside zone entry in Act 3.

Oh, and when entering -gc 2 I notice no softwareaudio. It must have disappeared after computer upgrade or the new download of the game. Maybe this is related to the X-fi card after all? Hopeflly -gc 2 and --softwareaudio will do the trick, my bet is on the latter.

I used to have a 100% crash on docks without softwareaudio. Maybe my upgrade (and new install of the OS), or something on your side has fixed that creative card issue, and this one remain?
Well this stupid crash just got my onslaught character killed. It kept crashing every time I tried to enter the Docks in Cruel it took me forever to clear the path and every time I entered Docks it crash on the load or crashed after a minute (3-4 times). I just wanted the waypoint and didn't want to reclear the whole path before calling it a night. It showed different errors each time so I don't know what the exact issue was.............

This only happened in docks for me. Each time it crashed I took the WP to marketplace, went to battlefront, and crash in docks so I can't see it as a ram issue for me. I have 16gb btw.

Try -swa instead
just happened here for the first time, when entering catacombs from the marketplace in act 3. Pak check has no errors, redownloading the pak at the moment.

Edit: Didn't help, -swa works though.
