How To Dunk Like Jordan! (Physical CI Melee for Dummies!)(Ridiculous Survivability and Damage)

Hey love the build was thinking doing a marauder version instead because I hate the Templar animation. This is what I came up with.

I would switch the beginning route to this in order to min/max on points :) saves 2 and grabs some extra dex, which is nice. Otherwise, you are basically adding a bit of damage for 4 points :/ not necessarily worth the trade-off, and imho the templar animation for leap slam is better ;)

Slagmaur:
The 16 respec points is more than enough. Follow the same pathway and head down to Iron Reflexes, than head up to around CI. Just pickup Catalyze, and some of the easily accessible life nodes you pass by (3 in dps nodes, 11 in life nodes), and also pickup Eldritch Battery to help you out (2 more points). That should be more than enough, and it is only 16 points. You can get 2 easy fitness groups, the Discipline and Training group (2 of which you need to pickup regardless due to pathing, so only 2 points there) which is 8 in total, and than pickup an 8-8-12 group by Vaal Pact. Should be more than enough life nodes to easily farm docks to about 70 to get your gear and skill points. If more is required than sacrifice EB and the dps nodes, there are other life groups you pass as well (I think an 8-8-18 by Iron Reflexes if I am not mistaken).

Thanks both you and Laxgimly for your responses.

Oh and

It's a Surgeon's but won't alter it for sure :D

DEFINITELY envy that! Would love to have one for my Power Siphon Templar hahaha! Ample + Ironskin is best though :p if you get a nice 20% reduced charges belt (Perandus? That's next on my testing list tbh), you can use it 4 times before it runs out! Gotta say, running around perma-granited is just the best feeling ever. It feels amazing.

UPDATE:
Currently running an anti-bleed, anti-burn, and anti-frost pot. I think that Dream Frag is better than the Anti-frost pot, but not entirely sure yet. I can't tell until I do more testing, and was talking with some people during the little bit of time I had allocated to test today so I am now a bit behind on my schedule! (No worries, the chats were great and I hope everyone walked away in good humor and more knowledgable!)

P.S. Feel Free to PM me if I am on! If I don't respond I am probably mapping or racing.

Was thinking about this last night and I am thinking about trying to grab Mind Drinker in the Shadow tree for the extra Mana leech, so that it won't be necessary on the gloves and I can upgrade them to good IAS ES gloves. Not sure what to drop, and a little hesitant to drop any ES nodes, as they are quite important (obviously).

Yo Midget,

Is this build still doable with about 5k ES? I'm planning to run full MF on this - so far its been a huge success but am not in map territory yet.

Also,

Wouldn't Marohi work better for this?

Just wanted to hear your thoughts, thanks <3
