Why I love Diablo 3
|
What about the fact that it is online only ?
That means people with unstable internet connections will have a crappy or laggy game. And please don't say 'too bad for them' Because Diablo 2 was one of those games that people EVERYWHERE played. It was simply one of those games that everyone wanted and could play. And so many were looking forward to the release date. But wait, the bigger problem here - ping What about those in Australia ? or South Africa ? or India? No local servers means singleplayer game with 200 - 350 ping ! Having played on Blizzard servers in more than one of these locations, i can say that the lag might be gamebreaking... Its basically the same as playing online, except it's solo. In Diablo 2, there was a significant delay when i clicked on anything, to pick it up, or to attack. Not very very long, still enjoyable, but compared to an offline experience, it sucks !!! And why does D3 singleplayer have to be like that for many ??? (and my internet connection is more than good enough, for battlefield bc2, tribes, COD etc...) you exist because I allow it, and you will die because I demand it

" Then that's that. I leave this thread to you, ManiaCCC and...whoever else wants to express their love for Diablo 3 in this most unlikely of places. I strongly suggest you do the same, xxnoob. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between. I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period. Last edited by Foreverhappychan#4626 on Jun 9, 2012, 11:03:50 AM

"Yes, how unlikely it is that there might be people who like an ARPG posting on the off-topic board of an ARPG. :P |

" - The name has a nice ring to it.. Diablo THREE - Because of the rush I got when I bought it and was driving home saying to my self "THIS IS SO AWESOME!!, I'm turning off my phone, and ditching college :)" Other then that... |

" Oops. D1 and D2 both had thrilling stories with interesting characters and dark twists, whereas D3 just spits it all out at your face as if all the players were 8-year olds. People hate on Diablo III because it's disappointing to know that such an underworked money-making machine carries the name of the Diablo series. Blizzard got the money they wanted, and the game is not going to get any better. It's just going to end up with a bunch of minor tweaks once now and then, but the main problems are never going to be fixed. Cause if they really cared, they wouldn't have released it with so many flaws. Not very Blizzard-ish. |

I love logging into servers for a Single Player game, viral marketing in attempts to put down competition, a sequel that gets rid of over half the player classes, Linearity, real money auction house. I'm not saying you can't enjoy it, but I certainly don't.

I play d3 2 months.. for example items barbarian can wear it have inteligence or dex.. Make RMAH to get more money.. Full of bugs.. Its really fail of the year.. And except all thats.. This game must be have 0 bugs problems must be perfectly created about 10+ years to create it..

D3 is money grabbing scam.

Diablo 3 has it's pros and cons (mostly cons), but I must say I enjoyed other Blizzard games than Diablo 3. I'm on the fence right now trying to decide which I've enjoyed more: Diablo 3 or PoE. PoE even in its beta is a lot of fun to play. I've really enjoyed the dark feeling of PoE and was like the d3 I kinda wanted. On the other hand I did have some fun with Diablo 3 obtaining lvl 60 trying inferno ( not so much fun) but the journey was okay. However if your looking at the fun to money ratio PoE wins ultimately. I have to say D3 just didn't live up to the title.
