Most Overrated Most Underrated Unique Item?

1. Most overrated - Le Heup of All, it has a bit of everything. And 20% increase in all damage is GREAT. However, with a more specialized rare you can far exceed that damage output. As far as the other stats on the item are concerned they can be very easily surpassed in less expensive gears as well. Le Heup of all is the most overrated Unique selling at up to 5-7 exalt for the best rolls.
2. Most underrated - this time I have to give to two uniques. HeatShiver and Cloak of Flame. If one combines a Heatshiver with a high quality ColdtoFire Gem which being both cold and fire type receives +2 gem levels when socketed to HeatShiver, the power of the supported gems skyrockets. The 60% mana regen is also extremely useful. And Cloak of Flame was a pretty bad unique at one time. However when combined with arctic armor gem, one's ability to mitigate fire and physical damage will go through the roof! |

" Le Heup of All seems pretty good to me... probably overrated but 20% all resist is strong. 20 all attributes is very helpful for most builds, and 20% increased damage can be VERY srtong. It's one of the few ways to boost EK damage with a ring besides cast speed. I mean I use "the magnate" and the only REAL benfit is the 25% phys damage. 20 all resits AND all stats instead of just strength would be amazing. Why not apply that to a ring? Overall I agree though. I think making it a coral ring would've made it worth the cost or at least closer. |

Overrated? Probably Lioneye's Glare. I's a mediocre bow with Resolute Technique built in, yet people get all wet over it and it sells for a mint.
Underrated? Probably Cloak of Flame. Alteration Orb Union Local #7

You're right on Cloak of Flames. Its the Kaom's Heart of physical damage for sure. People underestimate how powerful conversion mechanics are for incoming damage.

le heup is underrated. its sad an item that great is hurt by the fact this games design forces every class by CI to put +life on every item.
