JUST GOT MY DIABLO 3 DIGITAL COPY REFUND!
I watched a nice rant the other day... went something like this:
When you are getting $60 for a product that has potential security issues, and you can offer a simple cheap product that can, by your estimates, guarantee a near 100% safety-net for all users... you include that product as a convenience to you and your consumers. Instead of folding the cost of an authenticator into every purchase, for the cost of like $0.50 to blizzard per unit... they instead cause people problems.. including themselves. " I actually agree with this as well. Although I don't believe Blizzard should be held accountable for people's failure to secure their own account information. With all the hassle of people constantly asking for character restores and calling/emailing support it seems like adding in the authenticators with every copy of Diablo 3 would probably have reduced the cost of resources being spent on all of these tickets and phone calls. |
