Between Season Race 20: 8 Hour Solo

Not a bad race considering I was taking it easy, but fate hates me once again it seems. I got the axe 8 minutes before the end of the race!

i came very close to dying a few times, almost one-shot myself on a big reflect pack since my leap slam dps was so high (1650ish)

dat maul, dat armour, dat 5 link, DAT MAUL! Dang man, gj. Did anyone end up getting to merci?

No and it's unlikely that somebody noncaster non WED abuser will get there in 8h.

Even getting there doesn't offer any advantage since the level progression on areas is terrible.

Nobody will go cruel in 3h because docks is level 32.


Progressing is too punishing in longer races.

Either you got a build that abuses skills such as BT/EK or you abuse the power of the WED gem with Auras, Added Fire Damage etc.

On all other build you will be underleveled after some time.

I could have gotten the same level if I had done docks for 5h and 5 min instead of progressing to mid act2 cruel sure I could have progressed but what's the point if you are level 37 at the beginning in act2 end up level 40 with ancient pyramid WP.
