" Not full of creeps - just knowing and accepting creeps or worse exist. It doesnt stop there either. If you happen to go home after partying and drinking, walking down dark alleys might go horribly wrong. The world has never been safer than it is right now in the western world. It still doesnt mean there are absolutely no risks out there. Just be aware and act accordingly. This has been known and understood since forever but somehow people forgot about that. For instance Im 6`4 tall, athletic and generally speaking not afraid of getting mugged or worse when Im out at night. Im still aware that if Im getting jumped by several people out of nowhere Im most likely screwed and cant defend myself. If I decide to take a shortcut through a dark alley or park or whatever I know Im taking a risk and although never anything happened yet, Im still on high alert as I should. Doesnt mean Im paranoid and doesnt mean the world is a bad place, it simply means Im not naive enough to believe nothing bad can ever happen and I dont want to put myself in a situation I cant handle in the first place, even if the odds of this happening are less than 1%. |

Therefore this thread is pointless really. Therefore he will stream next league launch. The stuff he said looks pretty offensive out of context even tho I 50% agree with the first statement. The second statement was clearly meant as a joke but I goes to far on a plattform like twitch. After all Twitch makes 80% of their income with women dressed like hookers doing sexy noises so.... Using a platform to promote gender essentialism and/or flippancy toward the plight of the underprivileged sounds suspension worthy to me.
Re: the current topic. Remember that when we're involving people with agency doing bad stuff, it's entirely inappropriate to blame the victim. It's one thing to go outside in the rain and get wet, another to go outside and get mugged. The rain has no agency. Muggers do. Taking measures to self-protect is practical, sure. But ultimately when someone's doing something harmless and gets attacked by someone for it, blame rests entirely on the aggressor. You can give advice to help people avoid such aggressors, but never blame people for being their victims. Украина в моём сердце
