Aurabots messed up the whole league economy and it sucks hard

No problem with the concept itself. The issue is that this content is locked behind party play only due to profits being extremely low and tools being extremely expensive to a level where only aurabots can use them.

The reason why the price is so high is because only aurabots can afford it. If you think that a solo player is buying Winged Divination Scarabs for 80C, you're wrong. Last league as an example, that was possible for me and get good returns from it. This league, even a tier lower Winged scarabs aren't worth it.

You will not gain enough returns to justify playing that content.
Imagine if killing any boss required you to also invite 4 other people in your party in order to not always end up in a deficit from killing the boss.

Still it doesn't matter.
If people want to play a game together, they will play it together, nerfing aurabots might just make their gameplay less enjoyable, the ingame result's wouldn't differ as much.

The real upside aurabots do provide is ENABLING greedier MF builds in harder content. Thats kinda their ONLY niche, so I think they are fine just how they are.

Was going to post something very similar.

Party play with those types of groups are coordinated where currency is pooled, there's a reason these groups tend to do stuff like buyout all the enlighten gems asap and stack them all on a single character while rest of the group does the killing for them to power level them.
It's all a group effort, there is no personal loot, it's all pooling so you can reach levels of wealth and power that you can reach the endgame goals asap to profit far greater than you ever could solo.

Who cares about hoarding a tiny stash of currency as it slowly grows when that currency could be used to contribute to the carries dps build enabling unique or the zdps getting another 1 or 2 auras squeezed in or whatever else allowing you to push further faster to profit higher faster.

They might be two entirely different games and genres but the concept of high end group focussed pooling resources is very well displayed in WoWs top end guilds, split raids and gear funneling.

IDK im thinking with the nerfs they balanced it out by having it were you craft end game gear easier, I have made so many items with 3 to 4 tier one enchants that made my jaw drop and have purchased some also for cheap. personally i think there are just so many people who currency farm now also, a lot of people are little market pros. Don't think aura bots are a proble they have always been there I made one in a past league and personally it want that fun but you can get into big exp farm parties easy. Just stack rarity past 100% on gear and watch all the juice fall from the sky while still enjoying the game with a build you like.
rarity is garbage as it doesn't scale well past a certain point (taken care of by the map)

The problem with rarity is, currency is not affected. Quite a few high value uniques are not in the global drop pool. And any of the valuable uniques have a somewhat bad weighting compared to cheaper equivalents like,
inpulsa vs tinkerskin // headhunter vs wurms molt etc.

A lot of the time finding many uniques decrease your currency gain, because looking at them takes time. You want to speedclear ASAP.

So the solution is simple, get enough damage with a skill to instaclear 2-3 screens per second and invest everything else into Increased item quantity and movespeed.
