I’ve not been able to play much this weekend or last weekend because the servers are down. I couldn’t play this morning. I’ve been checking every few hours to always fail to connect to battlenet.

Maybe some people can connect but I’ve most been unable to. I tried changing regions to no avail. The online servers have been more down than up for me.

The many threads in Reddit makes it seem like I’m not alone on that topic. I guess I could play offline but I like playing with friends.

The current message on battle net at least acknowledges the problem with “we are aware there are issues with the authentication servers”. That’s their communication on the matter after mostly silence all weekend.

I was able to get on and see my characters which gave me hope that I actually might be able to play some this morning. But nope...

Last one, since it might make more sense to just post when I can connect since that would be more useful at this point to demonstrate the servers being down...

Still down and definitely not alone in this. I should have played offline. Being online and playing friends has not worked out well :(

haha yeah. This is the best league in a while. So much to do, discover and have fun.

Unfortunately, I'm feeling much the same. I've been playing path of exile for close to 9 years, leveled countless characters through the acts and into endgame.

Lately the game feels cluttered and not in a good way. The last league I was able to tolerate enough to get into end game would have been delirium. My last few tries at getting back into the game have gone the same way. I get to Mervil and realize I don't have it in me to spend 4-5 hours just to get to end game in the form it is now. The end game does not have the same fun feeling as it did for me, personally, as it did in Ambush, Prophecy, Essence, Breach. I like the feeling of experiencing a new and fresh league mechanic knowing it was special to the league and added something to the game. The new mechanics all feel much the same, or just out of place.

Another reason the game has lost it's appeal to me is, I used to be able to see what was going on, with the old meta skills (ED, TS, Cyclone, KB, hell even old facebreaker builds) you can see the mobs die from the attack, now is just a full screen of mobs and effects and makes it harder to actually see the game.

There's just too much going on, and at the same time too little going on with QoL improvements and fresh mechanics.

(Sorry for the rant I just love PoE so much and saddens me that I can't enjoy it anymore.)

I will be trying to play again when the new league starts next week, but I'm not hopeful.

what? lots of people left saying to see next league, is what is happening, play few first days and leave, most probable my situation, and do it again for 3.17
