You are right, even though Kaom's is heads and shoulders above the competition and the go to piece of armor for end game HP builds (especially in hardcore), it's balanced because it could be obsolete in some distant and theoretical end game

Why are you crying about Kaoms? Just because you lost to someone with Kaoms in PVP does not make it overpowered lol. Its just useful with the current content we have. Im sure there will be better armors once GGG releases more content.

Yes, it makes far more sense to moan about an item in a game that hasn't finished being made yet. All this "saying its beta isn't ok" attitude is backwards.

It's theoretical because neither you or I know what is going to be released in the future, or what mod pools will be made available. All I know is that RIGHT NOW Koam's is far and away the best chest option for an HP build. And as such complaints that top end gear selections are being pigeonholed by certain uniques seem to be valid.

Your argument seems to be 'I'm sure stuff will be released in the future that will be better than kaom's anyways'. So by your logic you shouldn't complain about gear imbalance in an MMO because there will just be better gear released in the next expansion. See how ridiculous that line of reasoning is.
