Harvest is too good for the game
" Meanwhile my 94 and multiple 80+ characters mostly completed Atlas and hundreds of Harvests, I've had 1 targeted anul and no targeted exalts. I've made 1 good item by "keeping prefixes rerolling suffixes" on my Amulet resulting in my T1 life T1 Incursion Mana prefix Amulet getting two mediocre resists (Effin sweet but not going to impress any of you Trade ppl) I've got 4ish Tabs of projects most (99%) of which will go uncompleted I'm more compelled to continue playing heavily than I've ever been. I'm having more fun playing POE than I ever have, even more than Harvest league because the new Altas Passives have given me multiple ways to try and set goals and actually have a prayer of achieving those goals despite not being able to "no life" the game. In other words: this POE is more of the game I want to play than any other incarnation. I have goals that are not lottery drawings, I have long term progress that doesn't rely on Brick or Win gambles... I have semi-targeted farming of weird and wonderful build possibilities that aren't almost totally RNG wether I'll be able to try and do them. Make Harvest SSF only... I'm good Nerf some of the "forced crafts" I'm good Make Harvest crafted Items become "bound" I'm good Remove Harvest, I'm out Make Harvest even less available (thus only available to no lifers), I'm out Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.

your problem is that 'multiplie lvl80+ chars'
if you spend this much time leveling (aka not rolling harvests) you wont get far since ive caved in and 'expertly crafted' my Atlas by removing 2 watchstones Ive seen and used probably close to 100 'good' crafts. two days, not that many active hours playing. it is just like any other farming - you go all in, run simple, easy maps (keep them lvl76+ to be able to roll on sirus gear) and then picture changes dramatically it is the same case as with getting money from drops. you acquire ZERO wealth before you enter red maps. if you re-roll frequently youll stagnate and not acquire gear/currency give it a try, farm for two days, youll see what kind of HUMONGOUS difference it makes ps. its dull as watching paint dry.. but it works |

" So "your problem" is that you've had good RNG and now you're projecting that anyone who hasn't had the same level of good luck as you "must be doing something wrong". This is an every day occurrence around here. So yeah we see this very differently and I don't think GGG wants "you've played more than 1 character, so thats your problem" to be the official line for how POE should be played. I mean all of my characters have mapped and they may have spent 7 or 8 hours not able to get harvests (not timed it but it doesn't take that long to get to maps even for me) but all of them have been able to get harvests for longer than they've been unable to get harvests. Its interesting, but years and years of POE forums its kinda the same thing: oh your problem is that you have a job and a life, and you're expecting this game to be fun; thats your problem right there, only people who no life get to have fun in POE, so sorry... " It's a twofold issue. On one hand, if we say that someone plays an hour a day or 7 hours over a weekend, that's over 90 hours to "beat the game" over the course of a league. That is a shitload of time, and it's not enough. And that brings up the other issue: What does it mean to "beat the game?" It used to mean beating all the acts, and believe it or not that's where I used to stop and I was fine with it. Likewise, when Elder showed up I just fought the white version and felt no need to pursue higher tiers. And then Sirus. I wouldn't have an issue with Sirus if it played like Elder, where you fight a lesser version and then promote up to a bigger version. But GGG wants you to fight his goons EIGHT FUCKING TIMES before you get to square up with him and, sorry, but fuck that noise. And this is emblematic of where the game is now: Acts are anemic and pointless, the game begins at level 68, everything beforehand is just a time sink. And because I'm not some power-gamer Timmy who can blast through 68 levels in an hour, that shit takes a while. Of course...Then there's the fact that you aren't even supposed to be playing the game. You're supposed to be tabbed out of the game and staring at Discord, because the almighty Trade is the true final boss. This is a buff™

" It has nothing to do with luck. There are specific methods to get harvest, I didn't had much time to play this weekend, but out of 47 maps, I had 22 harvests. It is 46% of maps that had harvest in them. It have nothing to do with luck, but with method. " I fixed it for you. Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed"

" It would probably help your case if you explained how you reached that conclusion. You're using watchstones in Haewark Hamlet that allows Zana to grant additional mission options, combined with the Uncharted Realms passive that doubles her options on top of that. This combination grants a metric fuckton of options and thus significantly increases the odds of getting a Harvest mission. Make Atoll a favorite map in the region and farming becomes a lot easier. These watchstones tend to be costly, so only those who have the means will be able to exploit this. You can, if you want to afford it, buy watchstones that give up to 100% increased chance of getting Zana missions so you can almost self-sustain her missions to farm Haewark all the time instead of occasionally. That said, I expect watchstones to get nerfed to break the self sustained loop of Zana Harvest farming. Seems a lot simpler and less likely to cause backlash than further gutting Harvest. Look at it this way: If Harvest gets gutted, but you still have 400% increased chance of Zana missions still available, it would be super easy to farm Uber Elder or Cortex, Metamorphs or Delirium, all thanks to her doubled mission options. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! " i didnt have good rng. unless the seed mechanic is somehow skewed, my rng is exactly equal to your rng the difference is number of maps per minute i can do. for harvest.. ehmm harvesting ive opted for Wander with 2-screen wide clear (LITERALLY). i takes me < 1 minute to clear a map (with a boss). i didnt even bother with the watchstones as i loathe rolling them. but i could. you have to pick one: 'fun, play whatever you like' or 'efficient'. it is the same difference between hobby and a job. casual sport and professional training regime. ive been farming with dedication, got results and i have a job and a family btw, thanks for asking. getting the items listed took me less time than you spent leveling one alt. think about it. " Hey there Pizzarugi! Probably you're right that I could explain a bit more. So far often I get 20 zana options - I don't have all stones, just one with +1, other 3 are with synthesis map chance, I don't know hom much more harvest I could get with 3 more stones for more options, but I can tell, synthesised maps are really showing there from time to time. If I will play more, maybe I will try to get more +Zana options stones for testing and send you the resoults. " I don't think that majority of it come from stones, I would rather say that "paths not taken" is key factor (as I only have 1 stone with +1zana options), they would have to nerf Zana heavly, or even remove harvests as mission pool, but that, in the end, would only change the method of farming, to just spam atolls. I still got 75 red Zana missions left, but self sustain seems like a nice idea I could use in next league. Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed"

Harvest isn't 'too good' rather it's the angry no-fun-allowed mob who are all unsatisfied with their 'builds' and feels slighted that someone else can do a metric <3ton of DPS than them.
To be honest, if they're unsatisfied, they can jump on tft and try to craft their OPHAXX gear (if complaining about not having currency, Valdo's Rest prints out ancients and exalts though i see people complaining how this is also broken) OR just deal with it. |

" You seem to be confused. The people complaining are the ones USING the TFT shit. This is a buff™
