Harvest is too good for the game
just dont use discord and u never see any add/remove/add+remove crafs or only 1 per 1000 maps

I still don't think Harvest is too good for the game. I agree though that other means of item generation are weak compared to it.
Harvest is too good for a small subset of players, especially in conjunction with trade. In SSF, the number of players for whom Harvest is "too good" is really, really small, it is mostly players playing this game for a living. For the vast majority of players, Harvest isn't too good. For example, I have yet to see a single remove/add or augment life craft since 3.13 dropped. In hundreds of maps I played. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

it is absolutly not too good it is way to weak if u dont trade crafts. i have 27 day's of playtime and had 3 attack crafts. its really poor implementet and they 100% didnt test it before. it needs to be buffed and i mean really really hard buffed to be anywhere near useful for most of the player base

removing it would bring us back to the heisst szenario with massive player drop. noone wants this game to die so i dont think thats a solution here. this game needed a crating system for a very long time, and acrually noone complaind about it in harvest league because everybody had the option to craft good gear. its the imbalance of TFT users vs no TFT users that makes people so mad. noone wants to be forced to use a stupid disc server to craft. if it would be nice implemented and not like its is now most of the threads about it wouldnt be here.
i know noone in this game who thinks" hea i want a shit helmet with garbadge stats on it i dont want good items" everybode wants good items and crafting should be one way to get it. right now its only for a small % of the player base and that is a problem. |

" it is TOO good. but you have to: - setup your atlas for T11 Atoll (all you need to do is to remove 2 watchstones). youll self-sustain easily - prepare at least 5 DIFFERENT crafting projects. examples: explody chest, big phys weapon, interesting boots, good curse ring etc. key is to have a use for every craft you find, because you can find entire garden full of 'defence' rolls. if you are not after a big Spectral Shield Throw shield or crafting a fractured +1 to gems ES shield, youll waste it - plan ahead. know what bases to reforge, what 'big' rolls to look for, be persistent. treat reforges as chaos orbs/essences. just spam them. youll hit 2-3 big rolls item sooner than later. - be patient. dont risk unless that is an only option. know your mods. 'life' roll might mean 100 flat life or +2 life gained on hit. know your mods and avoid traps check your stash for items like 200%+ inc phys / 2-3 cold damage. just target remove cold, slam phys. sure, these items are rare, the more so if your filter is uber strict and you ignore rares completely but they do drop you might not get 3 elevated mods chest in a week - you claim casual after all but you are guaranteed to get nice things boots are in progress. all 4 crafted from scratch, chests and boots miss some polish but ill get there took me 2 days of t11 atoll farming. yes, its boring, yes my xp bar barely moves, yes its pretty dumb. but.. it takes far more time to get items like that (not 'good' but 'tailored for specific need') from the trade |

" Crafting always means gambling on iems. PoE always was very lenient with it compared to other games with how you could block mods and fix suffixes/prefixes. Crafting always should be risky and not simply be a matter of hours spent on discord.And yes high-level-crafting should be absolute endgame/moneysink and therefore also not needed to feel strong. The game just got out of their hands and they have zero idea how to catch up it seems. I like the idea of removing all the annul/aug-crap, I even more like the idea of removing harvest altogether. |

I know for a fact now that I would not be interested in a poe without harvest or harvest level crafting.
Crafting in poe outside of harvest is a broken system. More luck than anything else with the best people can say about it being all the ways they got things to work inspite of it .. rather than with it. The problem harvest has is that its current iteration is tied at the hip to a third party discord and the sketchy as fuck reality of people trading away their precious items to total strangers . Say what you want about harvests power. this system is not healthy and it needs to change. Id rather they make tft unnecessary and harvest trading was easier than this. Though to behonest Id also rather we had some love spread out over the rest of the game. There are so many obvious places we could put harvest style crafts that just dont have anything. The temple rooms literally are element color coded People are complaining that the maven is not rewarding enough outside of her orb drop. Delve could always have a themed harvest encounter. Seeds could have easily been added as a delirium reward. The list goes on. They should have kept the garden and simplified the mechanic rather than turn it into a vaal side area.
