Oh and he got a IAS nerf this patch lol. Like he wasnt already pathetic enough in the DPS department.

Not entirely true. A corrupted six link doesn't always have the right colors. Tabula has all whites. And Tabula can be used from level 1.

I am talking about newbies, who equip every unique they find as they level, and by act 4 wonder why they can't progress.

Youtube guides. No amount of views or likes can substitute for a good build. No amount of production value outweighs an honest disclosure, in "real-world" terms, of the 1-2 glaring weaknesses many builds have. There's a finite number of builds with the right blend of survivability, single target, and budget to feel comfortable in inexperienced hands reaching for endgame. There's no such limit to how much media content creators are incentivized to roll out.
