Poe MMO, when?

There needs to be one.

Wow has a great engine, smooth, responsive, I just wish it was open for modding. That's basically all we need. The community would handle the rest.
It would look 100% poe regardless. A mod in RDR2 would look nice too but would probably be far more resource consuming.

Combat would be less spammy, not such a turbo clusterfuck and it would actually be enjoyable and work. PvP battlegrounds would be a real thing.
The tree would ofc be heavily modified and different from the original one to compliment the new slower pace.

If poe2 creeps into the same turbo HH monstrosity that poe has become, I'm out. Will have to find something new.

But if some streamer could ask Chris his thoughts about a MMO, that'd be nice.
How much staff / money / years would it take, and why not?

yeah there's new ones being developed... New World and Ashes of Creation come to mind. Dunno about any others.

with the most soulless development I've seen outside of China, those games won't last

mh, New World I agree... but I wouldn't call Ashes of Creation soulless. Not saying I'm a fan, but at least the team behind the game seems very passionate from what I've seen.

Hopefully never.

And AoC sounded ok at first but after seeing the combat I got put off, the insane eye cancer of high fidelity super thin sharp effects made it look like a clusterfuck space shooter. No rpg soul in it. Even GW2 was better than that sadly and that's a low example of comparison.
