Is it normal for buyer not respond after invite?

I can understand if seller not responding to buyer.

Now as a seller after I received the buyer request and immediately invite to hideout, then no more response from buyer. Whisper them also no response.

I only started trading (selling) today and have made successful selling in first few hours. Only now i start to get all these weird no-response requests continuously.

Here's my selling flow after someone whisper me to buy:
1. Invite to hideout.
2. After buyer come in, right-click the buyer's name and click 'trade'.
3. Put the item buyer wants and check the price i want. Then click 'accept'.
4. greet them farewell and kick them.

I used /dnd while doing maps and turn-off after back in hideout, so usually i can respond immediately.

I wonder there's problem lies in my flow or is there a bug somewhere in the whisper system now?

Probably price checking and testing to see if the price is legit
edit: mix up buyer and seller
Spoiler

sometimes msg will be gone when changing character . I think you can still receive msg when loading to other zone

Sometimes people just invite and then finish the boss fight and then portal out

Sometimes just pc and deciding sell it or not

Sometimes just searching the stash....

I don't get the price check/legit part.

If my price is too good to be true and buyer interested, they should be happy enough to accept the invite and trade with me. Why disturbing me by whisper if don't want to trade? I can't help another seller to decide anything anyway.

Although i did encounter some lousy sellers who raises price only after i whisper to them even they already put it up for few days dy. Coincidence?

For the switching character or zone part, its more unusual. If I want to buy something, i will wait for seller for a minute or two to reply/invite after whisper and not switching char or zone.

This is only my first day of selling. Will observe few more days.
Sounds very normal. Think about it. Most sellers are busy playing the game, and coming to deal with a trade usually has an associated cost. Most of the time I'm playing I can't take the time out to deal with even important stuff, like my cat getting into something she shouldn't. It wouldn't take long for a seller to just start ignoring messages.

This affects buyer behavior too. They message dozens of sellers expecting most to ignore them. The respond to one, and ignore the others.

So I'd expect it to be quite prevalent. Don't take it personally. If it really bothers you, just stop selling crap that people like this are trading for. Focus on a few really nice items rather than pages of cheap crap.

Also, people like to pm 10 people at the same time and accept the invite from the first people who sent invite, or the price is the cheapest

I see. I didn't thought of buyer will whisper multiple vendors at the same time for the different/same items. Because so far when i want to buy something it's either none or just one or two vendor selling it and only one item at a time.

Too bad GGG can only show whether a user is online/offline/afk. Should have split online to in-game (for playing/town) and in-hideout. Or atleast showing dnd status.
you won't saw dnd people, they are consider offline in trade site
