If you are referring to the explode physical damages, I guess you can give it a try. But in my opinion, we have more than enough damage for map clearing already. that's why we don't even need the intimidation call during mapping except for bosses.

Also, in the end game, we are relying on some extra lightning and cold damage for some shock and chill effects.

Remember that Measured Fury adds 5th exerted attack from Seismic Cry which is actually so big boost that it is worth more than those 6 points. I quickly looked at your PoB and this node alone gives you more damage than your whole cluster tree - PoB shows over 25% more damage by just adding 5th exerted attack.

So if I were you I would get rid of the whole cluster setup, take Measured Fury and maybe take those cluster nodes near RT and Minion Instability and treat them like jewel sockets to fill attributes/resists, whatever you need (e.q. https://pastebin.com/ri1YUXWe).

Thank you very much! I didn't realize that the damage bonus of seismic cry was cumulative on the number of hits before (yeah, learn to read, right? -.-)

The cluster setup will be hard to replace, because it gives me a lot of attributes and resists. But if the damage actually doesn't matter that much, I'll try out different setups.

Hey Jenno, first off wanna say thank you for the build, it's my favorite so far and has brought me the furthest into the game compared to any other character (as an intermediate player). I am however having some issues, and by importing my build into PoB I've confirmed I am lacking some serious damage (only at 400k). 1. None of the gear listed in mid-tier has any dexterity, however my gems required a significant amount of dexterity and I have +dex on 2 or 3 of my items because of that.

2. I have noticed your CWDT gems are underleved, along with precision, is it important I follow this? Maybe this will fix my dexterity problem?

3. I have finally hit my first wall getting into tier 14-15 maps, where I can't kill bosses that easily due to a lack of damage. What are the main things I should change in order to increase my dps and crit chance?

4. I see your chest has a +1 to curses. How many curses can you put on a target at once? And how many is this build putting on? Maybe this chest is more important than I thought.

EDIT: I hadn't realized I had to make changes in "config" in POB, I have gotten more realistic numbers (4.3M against sirus), however I believe there is still issues.

Awakened melee phys gem should be the very last upgrade, it's 10+ex and only give you like 4% more damage over regular melee phys gem.


I suggest to get explodey chest and a good staff to begin with.

Several things I notice:

1. for weapon, the base is as important as the mods. You might want to change for a better base (check out the base recommendation in the gear section), your damage will improve a lot after that.

2. I recommend getting a +1 curse and explodey chest, so your amulet can anoint Measured Fury. That node can scale your damage a lot and make your mapping much more pleasant.

3. There are several alternate skill gems we use, maybe your POB isn't displaying that correctly, but I suggest you to check the gem in the gears I posted.


Also, getting a bottled faith flask can boost your crit chance a lot (I get 100% crit chance because of it).

1. None of the gear listed in mid-tier has any dexterity, however my gems required a significant amount of dexterity and I have +dex on 2 or 3 of my items because of that.

2. I have noticed your CWDT gems are underleved, along with precision, is it important I follow this? Maybe this will fix my dexterity problem?

3. I have finally hit my first wall getting into tier 14-15 maps, where I can't kill bosses that easily due to a lack of damage. What are the main things I should change in order to increase my dps and crit chance?

4. I see your chest has a +1 to curses. How many curses can you put on a target at once? And how many is this build putting on? Maybe this chest is more important than I thought.

Hey, glad that you like the build! To answer your questions:

1. we only need 70+ dexterity in end game, it's important to keep the level of blood rage low enough to meet the attribute requirement.

2. Yes, I experimented many different levels of CWDT and the level I used works the best and it can solve the dexterity problem too.

3. I checked your POB, I think you need a better weapon. find a good weapon with good physical damage and hopefully open prefix so you can craft the 100% hit chance on it. Also, you don't need the life or mana flask, no need to run anger or precision until end game. Also, it's important that you use the same config as my POB, then it will reflect your damage accurately.

4. In theory, you can put up to 10 curses to a target (just checked it from poe wiki). In this build, we use 2 curses: flammability and assassin's mark. The chest armour is definitely very important.
