Why Witch loot drops suffer so badly - the stats:

do this same thing from lvl 1 through all of normal difficulty, then do it again about 10 times and I would then begin to take the claim seriously.

no troll no flame...simply not enough sample size IMO considering item tiers and such to jump in with you. i can even overlook your insistence on calling INT gear "witch" gear (although its tough, that is really annoying to someone who has STR and DEX witches).

I did in my first post. Though I would go higher than that to be more sure. I am not talking about anything in this thread BESIDES the assumption of a not-equally-distributed number of gear of the six str/dex/int combinations. Lots of other people told you this as well. When you want to talk about a bonus out of belts - fine, do that. But to do this, you dont need to collect ~400 items of which not even all can be put into the comparison because they are weapons and other stuff.
It may be believable. It may be possible. But you did not proof it. If you are okay with saying "I THINK that it maybe possible", then I am not going to stop you. But if you don't like that, PLEASE take a statistics class before throwing out nonproven diffences etc.

Now that I have pulled myself together to not making any comments about your behaviour, I wish you a happy discussing. Take care with saying things like "It is a fact that a is dropping worse than b". People who actually do statistic calculations on a daily basis tend to say that this is plain wrong without a proper investigation.

i have no pure INT witches so stop saying "witch is the most under-dropping char". you have a point with the number of items possible for each "attribute class" at lvl 23 and that is all I can agree with given the data you have provided.

RNG has nothing to do with what seems to be your real point so would have been better making the OP much simpler and just staying with the 2 quotes i used.

so you have stats on when people quit? i know i know, i don't expect you to answer that just meeting snark with snark. and no calling INT witch gear is not semantics, when beta started all classes had same starting point so its the dev's vision that this is not your typical class based game.

but back to the point...if i am now reading this right stats actually have NOTHING to do with this thread since your main claim seems to be a simple one...at lvl 23 less pure INT items than pure DEX or STR. Oh and lvl 94, pretty fucking close to 100 and a hell of a lot more than 23.

I am on your side here, that should get balanced out if there are not other mitigating factors that they have thought of that caused this shift.

I personally count daggers and even 1h maces, to an extent, as witch gear. If I find a nice dagger for a spell caster, I use it. Doesn't matter if its a wand.

Now, if you're talking about power siphon.....
