LT has been updated in PoB. Here is a more accurate 3.20 / 3.21 comparison.

Note that in 3.21, I replace Inc Crit Strikes with Awakened Added Lightning Dmg, since the Stronger Pulse always crit.

3.20 / 3.21

Damages in million DPS

Basic gem
Normal Pulses : 2.4 | 3.2
Stronger Pulse : 7.1 | 5

Average = (3 normal + 1 strong)/4 = 3.5M
Average = (2 normal + 1 strong)/3 = 3.8M

Phantasmal

Normal Pulses : 1.9 | 2.2
Stronger Pulse : 10.8| 8.5

Average = 4.1
Average = 4.3


So we don't gain a lot in raw DPS, but there will be ways to use the always crit feature. First, it will always apply ailments. And it will remove the necessity to get inc crit chance elsewhere.

I'll see how I can improve the skill tree. It's too bad they removed the "non-crit lightning hits are lucky" mastery.

The Divinarius dagger is now very strong (but then you can't use Vaal Smite).

Made some changes on the tree.
You need Enlighten 4 to get all the auras. I've played with a level 3 and removed Determination, it works well.
If you use Determination, you can also use Divine Shield Shield keystone.

New important mastery in Elemental nodes : "Hits have 25% chance to treat enemy monster elem res as inverted".

6L Lightning Tendrils : Infused Chan + Trinity + (Awakened) Added Lightning Dmg + Inc Crit Dmg + Energy Leech.

The unique amulet Marylenes Fallacy looks like it might be very good with the new LT. +240% crit multiplier and culling strike and the downside isnt really relevant for LT.

Indeed. Compared to my current amulet, an average Marylene would make me lose 13% dps on the normal pulses but gain 30% on the Stronger pulse !
Not accounting Tranquillity anointment and Unstable catalysts for crit, then it's 50% more !

No low-life, no curse immunity.
Trinity support is procced through cold as extra fire granted by the helmet.

Compared to my previous PoB, this version is much cheaper, has a lot more DPS but fewer defenses.
Marylene's is cheaper than my specific rare amulet.


The Singularity sceptre is very cheap.
My previous Sceptre would grant 7% more DPS, so it's not a big loss.

This is an Assassin version, using full Power charges, Void Battery, Badge of the Brotherhood amulet. It has an impressive 60M DPS with Stronger Pulse. But it's weaker on defenses, though.

I still need more testing and balancing, then I'll release an updated PoB + a demo video.

Increasing the DPS

I see two possibilities :

- Use a Skin of the Loyal body, with an Empower gem. I've used it in the past, before choosing this rare body to get more ES and chaos res + cool Eldritch implicits :


- Use Dialla's Malefaction, with 4G and 2R sockets. Gems can be socketed ignoring colors. So you'd put LT and Empower in red sockets for +2 levels, and the other supports in green sockets for +30% quality.
On top of that, you can get +1 level as a corrupted implicit, but the price will be in the dozens of divines.
