SCAMMER ALERT, $$GGG$$ - we are busy.
" He didn't change his mind, the seller put a 5-voices in the trade window, then replaced it with a 7-voices. It's a very common scam used on all sorts of items. It sucks when it happens, but it is 100% the buyers fault. This happened to me on a lvl 4 enlighten last league, I was tired and wasn't paying attention. It was still my fault, and I moved on with my life. |

" The only solution aside from buyers simply LOOKING at the item they're buying, would be an auction house. And since GGG has said they will never implement an AH, people need to use the grape between their ears. |

In my opinion, GGG is not doing anything to prevent scams in PoE,
If its otherwise they should at least show us number of players that were banned because of scams. And here we witness ambient sound of nothingless. And there is only one answer for that, they are doing nothing with that. |

Virtually all other online games have been successful for the past 20+ years at preventing basic scams like this. GGG system is literally a playground for scammers. Sorry you lost your exalteds, that is so lame.

" You never played EVE online, did you? There is a easy scam prevention in the game. Use your eyes and don't be greedy. Seller is putting the item in the trade window. Buyer has to hover over it to accept the trade. Same goes for the Seller. They even implemented a time window with 5 seconds in which you can still abort the trade. I never got scammed and i trade nearly every day. If the seller is trying to rush the trade, just ignore him. He's not the only one selling that item. And if he is the only one, than it's mostly a mirror tier item. Take your time, check if the links are correct, the mods have the right number and if the item is maybe corrupted. Hell, even if the trade gets closed to prepare a scam, you have to accept the trade-pop-up again. That is a sign for a scam. Don't blame GGG for lazy players who think a 6L item is sold by 1ex. Even if they change their mind and implement a Auction house (price fixer love those) People will still complain about getting scammed. Every day a idiot gets out of bed. " I played Eve for a few years, oh man, can you imagine these people playing Eve? ROFL! |

" They did their job, they made a FOOLPROOF TRADE WINDOW. Now how about you do your job and PAY ATTENTION TO THE OFFER? The trade window is foolproof, not lazyproof. You were lazy and paid the price. Now you know. |

I'm not gonna go with the classic "ur fault" but I'm really curious why, in a expensive trade, when all your money is in playing, you couldn't check the item before accepting the trade. Just really curious.

"lol great logic x'D if i come to your house and start killing people is it your fault because it's in your house? 3.26 when?
Don't abandon us. don't turn your backs on the ones loving poe. |

They already have ALL the prevention they need for the game:
YOU need to HIGHLIGHT any item before accepting a trade YOU need to HIGHLIGHT an items if it is replaced with another YOU need to pay ATTENTION to what you are trading. It sucks getting scammed I am sure but let it be a lesson, you need to keep your eyes open and pay attention. I have played PoE since Talisman league and I have never been scammed, people have tried many times but as long as you read you will never get scammed.
