SCAMMER ALERT, $$GGG$$ - we are busy.

Today I was scammed by with voices-5, 19.5 exalted orb, guy is holding his offer from 1 weak, how many people he already scammed GGG?
How many of us need to be scammed, do you even care about that?

I LOST MY WHOLE INVESTMENT IN THE DELIRIUM, and I dont have more currency to spend nor strength to play more after what happened today.

OF COURSE I WILL GIVE HIS NICK AND ACCOUNT NAME BECAUSE IM NOT AFRAID OF BEING BANNED.

IF I will get banned for this and scammer can play more and trick other people, than I dont care about that game any more and you should think about policy of GGG.

So,

VOICES with 5 small nodes, there is offer from 1 weak from now - 19.5 ex on poe.trade
scammer name - [Removed by Support]
account name - [Removed by Support]

There is constructive answer from support.

Kind regards,
Azrael

OR you already got some messeges about him and doing nothing to prevent that?
You are "still looking" on him while he is scaming other people. In that way THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROTECTION.

Great job GGG

Hi there,

I’m glad we could help!
If there’s anything else we can do for you, please don’t hesitate to ask.

You don't get banned for this, then just edit your post and remove the info (as you can see have already been done). This is because "naming and shaming" is against forum rules.
If you keep doing it, they just put your account on probation so you can't do anything on the forum but read posts.

The proper procedure for any player "problem" is to e-mail GGG support directly with all your proof like screenshots, chat logs, link to player listing and so on.

However to do a trade, you have to to hover your mouse over the item so you can clearly see what you are buying......

Well I can complete understand that answer when a person sent an e-mail like that to GGG support.

I would suggest that you sent a proper e-mail to GGG support -->

Topic --> Scammed by player.

Hi GGG.

Today I was scammed by player XX and I would like to report this.
Here is selling this jewel (insert link here to his listing) for 19.5 ex.
However he trade me another item.
Here is the chat logs (attach chat logs from client.txt file and screen shots if you have them).

However what you must understand is, that your will not be getting anything back from GGG or the player.
Next time, check what you buy before you click accept in the trade window (yes, this is your own fault also).

Im not expecting to get anything back, I'm just furius that GGG - support or whomever, dont do anything to prevent that.

That was my second email after they send me template "that they will observe",
In first I described time nick and whole situation.

Maybe you dont know but almost every game keep their logs at their servers, so sending log isnt necessary - they do have them, there is question like here if they are using them ever?

Back to the topic,

If they would do their job, no one would risk doing scams in this game if they could lose an account.

But how many ppl was scamed by guy who placed his offer 1 week ago?
How many proofs do they need, month year? or more ? Or maybe that only thing they are doing just sending msgs that they will observe, because scamming in POE is daily basis.

If there would be any policy of blocking accounts I bet that 5 years ago we would finish with scammers here.
GGG won't do anything. You are responsible for hovering over any item you trade for. If it makes you feel any better, pretty much everyone has been scammed at some point. Take it as a learning experience and move on. The only person who will potentially get banned is you, for naming and shaming.

They do. They require that you mouse over the item you're buying. You then have to choose to actually look at that item and confirm it's what you want. Apparently, you chose not to look.

Look, I get that if it were a couple chaos and you couldn't be bothered, but if you didn't even look at the item you were buying for multiple exalts, then I don't know that anyone can help you.
It's not ggg's fault so don't be angry at them.

Can we please stop the ass...you know what ?

Of course it's GGG fault, because this happens in POE .

Remember back in the days the anihilus scams ? Blizzard made anihilus so it can be traded and so on.

OF course you still had to hover over items they couldn't go around that, but they were limited by time and technology. A thing that GGG hasn't been improving this whole time.

They should really think about this and at least try to do something. I do not know what and I do not care but something definitely.

Especially an item that has one, not two or 8, ONE stat that matters. Reading is hard.
No, you didn't get scammed. You checked the item and pressed accept. The fact that you changed your mind is not good reason to call someone a scammer. GGG has implement antiscam trade window so we can't be scammed.

Next time don't buy items you don't actually want and then accuse the person who sold you the item that he is a scammer. That kind of behavior is against the rules and you should get banned from the game for wrong accusing people
