I thought you can't use wepons and gloves for hallow palm?

They're there just to level gems on the side.

Basically you need to equip enough +str and +int gear to be able to equip them. Then when you move to your normal gear they get "unequipped" and enable HPT.

The gems in them still get exp from levelling though so it's a way to farm currency on the side.

Flicker Strike isn't an unarmed skill, so this is not possible! The build is based on one with nothing and therefore needs to use unarmed skills.

Have a question for the frenzy version of this build. How do you generate the frenzy charges? I don't see it in any of the items and in PoB it's listed under the skills, but not linked to anything.

The Frenzy skill gives a Frenzy charge on hit.
