[3.13] HC/SC/SSF All Content Miner - Any Mine Skill - LL/CI - 12k ES w/ Videos!

In general how far damage wise will a 5-linked shav work? WIll the damage be enough for Sirius 8? And what gem should i skip in that case? Fire pen? I'm thinking of only running pyroclast btw until I get a 6-link shav

Sorry if questestions been asked before.

Beer thanks a ton for the guide got my first Sirus kill at awakener 8 last night felt great. The build is a BEAST. Has a really fun playstyle and has been a blast to upgrade.

My only complaint was until I got the mana regen on my shield spamming mines on bosses was a bit annoying (also prevented flash dash sometimes). You cannot get flask charges on a lot of the new bosses so the QOL from mana regen was really nice and upped my DPS / survivability a lot.

Next upgrade will be to get a level 4 enlighten then I can run a higher level clarity and will be able to get rid of the mana flask entirely. Should be a huge damage upgrade with another offensive flask. After that it's 21 gems and she will be complete enough for me.

Thanks again the build is AWESOME.

No problem, glad you are enjoying it. One note though, mana flasks, as of 3.8, can roll a stat that makes it so they dont end on full mana. That will essentially allow you to continually get mana over a HUGE period of time. Make sure you roll it. Should look like:

I'd probably skip combustion. The dps will be enough if you play the fight well, 3rd phase might get a little hairy though.
I'm going to play LL Icicle mines pretty soon and looked at your guide for inspiration as I haven't played mines before.

I'm planning on using Hatred and Clarity with Blood Magic and using Discipline, Enfeeble/Blasphemy, and Skitterbots on mana reserve.

I can have up to 18 mines before there's no more mana left to be reserved, without an Enlighten. Do I need to have excess mana beyond what the mines use up or is the mana regen good enough with Alira, Clarity, and a mana flask?

Also, I'm wondering why you recommend getting Flesh and Stone on top of the blind that a Saboteur already has from Born in the Shadows.

Thanks for your time.
Would you ever consider Atziri's Reflection + Coward's Legacy + CI?

I suppose you'd have to have a pretty insane chest to make up for the loss of 2 auras & belt stats.

Flesh and Stone allows you to drop Born in the Shadows for Demo Specialist - it isnt needed, but its probably the best 25% aura you can run once you have everything all up and running.

As far as hatred is concerned, Aspect of the Spider is actually similar DPS unless you have a watchers eye for hatred PEN so I would still strongly consider that and that would allow an additional defensive aura.

On the mana side of things, you will want some left in the tank to throw additional mines, use flame dash etc.

Best no enlighten setup is:

Mana: Spider, Discipline, Curse

Life: Skitterbots linked w/ Bonechill and lvl 1 precision or clarity.

Going to post a max dps version here below.

Probably not, the build can get 75% chaos res pretty easily if needed.

If deep delving, you will want to go CI anyway, other than that, having a ton of chaos res is always good enough.
Added yet another section for SC DPS players:

Looking for more DPS and playing SC? No Enlighten Max DPS Setup below

Spoiler
At the cost of around 1000 ES (depending on setup), you can gain 30% mpre total DPS. I'll leave it up to you if you think its worthwhile or not, but for those seeking more DPS, this is for you:

New aura setup:

Aspect of the Spider, Curse Setup, Skitterbots - no need for any enlighten, but you will need the 12% reduction from the tree.

In addition to that, we are now going to use:

In there we will link the following:

Discipline
Hatred (or Anger for Pyroclast)
Zealotry

This is, bar none, the best way to gain more DPS w/ the build. It will be at the cost of some survival, but will help you to delete bosses faster.

One final note, make sure you drop the shield ES nodes if going this route and either pick up some flat ES from something like Essence Surge, or more %ES from the tree.
I leveled an Arc Miner as my 2nd hero this league as a filthy casual because I thought it might be better killing 4-watchstone Conqueror's my Cyclone Glad couldn't handle.

So I've got 5ex and wondering if I should give this a shot or stick with the Arc/Ball Lightning variant. I've only thrown a handful of chaos at my Arc miner, but it was all HP/Lightning gear.

Should I swap to this? And if I do, do I just throw 2EX at a 5-link Shav + Chayula and then build a 5-link Tremor Rod on the weapon swap? Will that get me comfortably farming red maps once I level gems, hit level ~80?

This feels like a better long term investment, but I barely know what I'm doing in PoE.

I’m curious if anyone else has tried the new Astral Projector ring w/Pyroclast. I’ve found it makes Pyroclast a viable clear skill. Not quite to the level of Arc or Icicle Mine but better than Ball Lightning. It also juices Pyroclast mine’s already stellar single target.

Icicle may still be the best with great gear, but I’m having fun exploring the viability of always using Pyroclast mine.
