Bet you'd like to have wands drop only for witch, with 1000 int max roll, as an example? The itemisation in d3 is some hideous shit, son and that's a fact.

The only issue with diablo 3 itemization, at least when I was playing it, is the lack of diversity in itemization at endgame. The gameplay is enforced by 1 or 2 sets that buff particular abilities, but there were only 2 sets per class so it was very limited once you ve had tried both. So basically you re pigeonholed into set abilities at endgame.

On the subject of this topic, I d actually buy that autoloot pet if you can filter what it picks up.

Some really nice QoL features there. Hopefully GGG will leech the best of them

ah yes because the pity drop system Diablo 3 has which rewards you with some 10000% extra damage upgrade if you go an alotted time without any decent drops so you can succeed at the next torment++++++++++++ greater rift 57371 where monsters have 84720000000% added health is so much better than having to buy a shaper fragment because you can't hit the 2% drop table on awakening 5

PoE is one of few games with a real longevity. Can we please let it stay that way? The moment we start implementing "smart drops" or other forms of casual "dumbing-down", the game sill lose a lot of its longevity.

Please... Just let ONE game on the market stay this way. Please? Pretty please?
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
GGG needs to introduce set items.

This game should cater to a broader range of players, not just the nolifers. Afterall, who's got the money buying supporter packs? People with jobs, therefore, that excludes nolifers.

I come from China, tencent have made quite some ch toanges to their version of POE to make it more newbie friendly and probably more profitable as well. Below are some of the changes that I know of:

1) The loot pet. This one probably is most famous/infamous one. It's not a one-time purchase, you pay for different tiers of loot pet for 7 days-90 days. Different tiers pet might have different capacity or functionality, I haven't purchased one so I don't know exactly the difference.

2) Free passive refunds before 70. We all know what Poe can be pretty hard if your passive tree is not set up correctly. To attract those non-hardcore players, you can always completely re-do your passive tree before you hit 70.

3) Resurrection token. This is obviously a P2W feature. I doesn't know what does it do exactly but I would assume it either A) let you resurrect without losing exp B) let you resurrect where you died, meaning you don't lose portals. Tencent will give out these tokens during special events like Christmas/holiday.

4) In-game auction house. Not much to say, it's an auction house. just the regular AH you would expect. You do need to pay a small amount for verification purpose.

5) A special servers for those who can't or doesn't want to grind. In these servers you can choose some selected builds and you will be given rare/unique gears during leveling. Not sure how things go in mapping.

6) Player-binded currency. To prevent bots, all the currency you get before mapping (or certain level, forget the details) is binded to your player.

7) I believe there is a in-game passive tree simulator/planner or something similar. You should be able to import certain build and can check the final tree in-game for reference.

8) In this season they have released a battle pass where you need to purchase and gradually get rewards as you progress.

9) Certain mtx you get from box can be sold to other players. Tencent will take their slack of course.

I have only played the tencent version for about 1 hour or so. Let me know which part you're specifically interested and if you think some features can actually be added to the global version

IF they implement any of this in International Realm, I literally stop funding this game. Good way to kill the game for practically everyone.

It is true that the Chinese have a different mindset than Western people and I guess they enjoy PoE their way but no need to enforce that way on ours.

POE 2 is designed primarily for console.
I tend to be fine with the current state of POE including dealing with trade which is light years better than it used to be. But, a auto looting pet would be a quality of life mechanic that I would like - heck if it just picked up currency that would be be enough for me and it would not ruin the fun of seeing item drops.
