everyone who is advocating against something to insure mirror service probably never had a mirror in their life, but karma is a bitch, when they do it, and eventually they will.. i just hope some nice little scammer decide to do a bit of "roleplayin" with their precious

The difference between scamming in the game and scamming in real life is that in real life, there's usually a way to get back what you own. Either through lawyers and time, or, on the shadier side of things, garrote wire and concrete shoes.
Unfortunately, in PoE we can't appeal to the law (GGG) because they won't help, and we also can't resort to violence to get our stuff back for most league types. I don't care to play with sociopaths, so I stick to non-PvP game types. I expect not to have to deal with the pieces of shit who want to be completely safe from retribution if they try scamming. PvP should be kept to the PvP league type. |

OP is correct, proper mirroring service should be available in town.
Remember in D2 when you couldn't trade annilius charm via trading? All sorts of drop/run scams existed thanks to it. They then allowed it to be traded as normal, backtracking on their initial intentions as it was flawed. Also, I really think they should just make it so you can use chromatics on mirrored items. or modify the trading window to allow you to use your mirror on the other persons items. The mirrored item would appear in your inventory.
