That is not fair, in my opinion. It is much more obvious to me that they are not incompetent. Instead the fact is likely you were just lucky.

I am willing to admit that there is some rng involved when rolling masters. But rest is simply playing to what you wanna get and targetting the masters you lack.

In Standard I lack 2 crafts still, I have actually never gotten them.
Nonetheless I finished uber-elder in each league and farmed quite a lot in general.

At times those mods simply don't appear, even some which seem 'common' can be withheld for a long time, far too long to be viable.

A re-work of the system itself definitely is a very good notion, the direction of the rework is the only thing which can be discussed.


One example would be the simple 'guarantee progression at 1/10th speed for an unveiled mod' if all 3 options are 'maxed' already. Even with the reduced speed the system would loose a massive amount of RNG and become more viable instead of tedious. Even if the total amount of veiled items per mod has to be increased for it that would stay the same.
GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease.
Everything fixed but still broken.

i like the idea.
it kinda feels empty and meaningless when you have 2-3 recipes left unveiled and trying to get them constantly.

tl;dr If you were target farming veiled mods, you would get them, eventually. Like you would get a set of Headhunter Div Cards, target farming Burial Chambers.

* Kalandra Prophecy

* Buying Jun Master Prophecies

* Hiring feeders, which you share your crafting services profit with, as other crafting services do, as the rarest crafts (like Headhunter Card) do not come from [simply playing the game, but targeted organised min-max farming, like with anything else desirable/high value in POE].

* buying ilvl81 or higher unveiled items for faster progress. Master Mods will be priced higher and can be identified beforehand by showing the Advanced Mod Description.

I don't find it better.

I am slightly disappointed by the multicraft meta. It was nerfed once before and i would not be surprised if GGG would nerf it again.

Unlocking seems fine or seemingly better only because it is closely related to the Syndicate farming which has rewards on itself. I think the design is good, but for only this reason.

Instead of

-going two floors down to fight stupid vagan which lasts 0.1 seconds
-standing and waiting like and idiot for creatures to spawn in elreon mini game
-going back to another edge of the map while expecting stupid resurrected creatures to follow you
-trying to open vorici's chest with spectre build

i prefer unveil some items. still not the most exciting thing to do but yes million times better than old shit...

Multicraft is boosting powercreep but for instance Vorici's 6L recipe I prefer searching Aul's
