Paying for Inventory Stash = P2W

It's completely unrealistic to assume multiple free accounts could achieve this.

Would you do what I already addressed? let me repeat:

How many f2p players are going to make two accounts, set them up on two computers, and go through both accounts to sort recipes on their 4 tabs each? And do this every time they get more items and need more accounts? This is incredibly unrealistic and won't happen for many reasons by a majority.

1. you assume everyone has 2 computers they can run simultaneously. that already cuts out a majority.
2. you assume they have them side by side. more cuts.
3. Everytime one account is full, which would be often unless they dump everything to a mule often, they'd have to load up another account and transfer.
4. Do you have any idea how long it takes to try to sort with multiple accounts? I suggest you try it. In fact I INSIST you try it before you say having multiple stash on one account is a negligible advantage getting rares for orbs. I did, and it's the reason I'm right.

It's a huge advantage, there's no way anyone can deny that.

You don't need 2 computers. All you need to do is log on to 1 account, join a game, give the item to a friend, log off. log onto 2nd account, collect item.

I have played RPG's in the past, and MMO's in the past, with multiple accounts to accomplish this exact thing.

It isn't that difficult. I believe you are exaggerating the advantage this can give you.

Try it then, you obviously haven't.

Your suggestion of having a friend help you transfer is 5x more time consuming.

1. you assume your friend wants to do this all the time
2. you assume your friend is on whenever you need him, and HE has a ton of space to transfer your items.
3. you seem to not realize this is nothing like mmos or other games where you just want to transfer items occasionally. You need to HOARD tons of items because you have to wait for the right combos to get the orbs.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad for it, LOVE the stash! I already got 11 tabs, and will put all my money into tabs after I wait to see what else becomes available. Much better than a monkey pet picking up an orb that rarely drops while Im walking by.

Don't accuse me of lying, thanks.

I have played many RPG's and MMO's that require you to hoard all sorts of things, most crafting systems do. So, no, PoE isn't all that different. True, you need to hoard more items in PoE then D2, but I have played several MMO's where I have mules, with pages of trade items, across several accounts.

When I said "friend" I didn't mean, the guy you know from school, I meant anyone online willing to help you transfer items.

Believe what you will.

Don't get defensive, and re-read my post without some skewed interpretation.

I never accused you of anything. I said you obviously haven't tried two accounts here, and I know this because I HAVE and it's a giant pita.

And I know what "friend" you are talking about, it makes no difference if its local or online that's a moot point.

You said: "Try it then, you obviously haven't"

After I said that I had tried it. So, by my lights, you are are at the least implying that I was lying. If I was mistaken, I apologize.

When I first said "friend" your first argument against the idea was that I: "assumed he would be on all the time." and that he would "have tons of space." Both of those points are true, if we are speaking about a specific person. But not if we are talking about, any person online willing to help you out. So, no, you didn't know what I meant by "friend" and it does make a difference if it is a singular specific person, or just any person who can offer up 10 minutes of their time.. possibly in exchange for an orb or 2.

I can see how you interpreted it that way, honest mistake no harm done.

Remember I'm only offering this as feedback because that's why I'm here. I'll buy whatever GGG throws at me if I think I'll use it.

Personally I am okay with it, because GGG told us that they were going to sell stash tabs and character slots a long time ago. So this is not new information.

Logically speaking, I tend to agree with the people that say buying stash tabs is buying time in the same way a potion would do that grants you a bonus experience rate for some hours. For some subjective reason my gut feeling about said potions would be much worse, though, especially since GGG grants a generous 4 stash tabs for free.

That being said, stash tabs and character slots are as far as you should go GGG. Anything beyond will be crossing the line for me.

Disregard witches, aquire currency.

Yes, it's technically P2W, in the sense that it gives you some advantages due to hoarding. It's a pretty insignificant P2W, though, in my opinion.

The issue you're describing, IMO, is actually an issue of the recipes, not the stash.

???
You do not need 2 PC.
When GGG implements their forum based trading (from what I understand about it) you should be able to make a trade with your alt account and just transfer all items that you want to transfer
